Brain Balance helps children who struggle behaviorally, socially, and academically through a holistic and integrated approach that is customized to meet the needs of each child.

This summer, many of our usual activities are being put on hold. Use this time to improve focus, behavior, social skills, and learning. Brain Balance’s non-medical program is designed to help kids and teens who struggle. The program is tailored to your child’s unique needs with a personalized plan of action and coaching. We’ll help you in the way that works best for you. The program is available onsite or online, at home. Join 40,000 other Brain Balance families and help your child thrive in the new school year.

At Brain Balance of Jacksonville, we understand the pain and frustration of watching your child struggle with learning or behavioral issues. Here, and at our centers around the country, we have helped thousands of kids overcome their challenges. Our groundbreaking program provides lasting results because we don’t simply work with a child’s strengths or compensate for a weakness, we tackle the root cause of the issue.

Our unique Brain Balance Program® addresses the whole child by integrating sensory motor training and stimulation and academic activities with nutritional and dietary guidelines. This unique integrated approach is key to what makes Brain Balance different and so effective.

If your child struggles to focus at school, has meltdowns or lack of confidence, Brain Balance Achievement Center of Jacksonville can help. Through an integrated, whole-child approach, The Brain Balance Program has helped thousands of children to overcome common disorders, including Attention Hyperactivity Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Asperger Syndrome, Dyslexia and other learning disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Sensory Processing Disorders, and behavioral issues such as Leaky Gut and anxiety. When you bring your child to our center, we will first give them an individualized assessment which allows us to identify their specific challenges. Then, we come up with a plan customized just for them! Through a combination of in-center sessions and at-home exercises, we can help your child reach their goals. Contact Brain Balance Achievement Center of Jacksonville today to learn more about our program.

Where Children Become the Greatest Version of Themselves

Growing Together Behavioral Center is one of Jacksonville’s premier schools for children with autism and developmental disabilities. We pride ourselves on being a school where each child is treated as an individual, and educational plans are tailored to their personal needs.

For the 2018-2019 school year, we are excited to partner with 25 students with autism and other developmental disabilities, ages 3 through 15 years. For each child, we will offer a comprehensive educational and therapeutic program, specifically providing students with customized academic plans, while integrating proven, research-based behavioral strategies into every learning task. Our school is unique from the public school settings, as we are able to focus on the specific needs of each individual child, whether academic, life skills, or behavioral. We are also unique in that we offer year-round school and extremely low student to teacher ratio (largest class 6:2), both of which are proven methods to help our children work toward their highest level of learning.

At Growing Together we believe that all students affected by autism and other developmental disabilities can reach their fullest potential through an education based in structure, fun engagement with peers, and loving teachers and staff supporting and encouraging them daily. Each child’s individual strengths and challenges are continually assessed to direct the child’s teachers in selecting the best methodologies to target the child’s current needs. We believe that open communication between teachers, staff, and families is a must, and we have communication plans in place with each family to meet those needs.

1591 Big Branch Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068, United States

Hope Therapy started as a dream shared by Marianne and Rebecca (Becky) Davenport, a mother-daughter team with a desire to help others. Marianne, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and Becky, an occupational therapist, both with extensive horse experience, founded Hope Therapy in 2001. Their commitment to high-quality services and excellent programs led Hope Therapy to become the only Premier Accredited Center in Northeast Florida by meeting the high standards set by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). Throughout the years, they have maintained this accreditation by continuing to meet the standards and passing on-site inspections.

Nestled in Middleburg, FL, the farm is a serene 12-acre property with a wheelchair accessible mounting ramp, outdoor riding arena, and sensory trail for our clients. In our riding arena, you will find colorful cones, a basketball hoop, letters, and a ring-toss game. The sensory trail has ground poles, barrels, and many hidden surprises, waiting to be found by our clients. To best set our clients up for success, we have adaptive equipment, such as loop ladder reins and activity boards. We also have picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for our client’s families to enjoy as they watch their family member’s sessions. Sessions are individualized and typically one on one with our occupational therapist, physical therapist, or therapeutic riding instructor.
