Mr. D (Bob Drost) does amazing caricature art work for parties. You can also find him Cartoonist, illustrator, and drawing instructor Bob Drost (also known as Mr. D) offers two different packages for birthday parties. One consists of caricature entertainment – drawing caricatures of the kids. Caricatures are done on 8 ½ by 11 paper, for easy framing. The birthday boy or girl gets his/her caricature done on an easel.

The emphasis of Splash Jax Swim School is to teach proper swim techniques while learning basic water safety in a fun, energetic atmosphere. The Splash Jax Swim School staff has been professionally trained to offer your child the latest in teaching and learning. Children are taught in small groups (4:1) which will allow them the ability to learn skills properly. Our number one goal is to teach your child to really swim, increasing their chance of survival in a water emergency. Secondly, we will teach your child to swim well by emphasizing correct competitive swimming techniques (streamline, body roll, bilateral breathing) from the beginning.
With over 30 pools located throughout Jacksonville, there is bound to be one close to you. Champions Rainbow Rec Gymnastics Program is structured to follow USA Gymnastics guidelines and is designed to provide each child with top quality learning experience in a safe and loving environment. The Swim Lesson Club indoor heated pool is located in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville. Our pool is heated 92 degrees and perfectly designed for teaching all ages of swimming instruction.

We offer videographer and stroke analysis that is very difficult to accomplish in a normal lap swimming pool. At Little Seals Swim School, we offer one-on-one survival swim lessons to children as young as 8 months old. Babies/infants are taught to roll over and float on their backs. Once they reach a year old (or have been walking for about 6 weeks), they are taught to swim with their face in the water. The children are then taught to sequence the swimming with the floating in order to rest and breathe while swimming and playing in the water. They repeat the swim-float-swim sequence until they reach the steps or side. Once children are fully skilled, they have the opportunity to practice their skills fully clothed for “Silly Swim” lessons. Once lessons are completed, students are encouraged to maintain their skills by attending twice-monthly maintenance lessons (or semi-annual refresher lessons). Introduction to stroke lessons are, also, available for children that are developmentally ready (usually beginning between 4 and 6 years of age). Instructors are trained to present stroke lessons in a fun way that is relatable to young children.

When turned into a powder, it can be mixed with water and essential oil (I use Eucalyptus) to create an all natural ink. The ink goes on like a gel, dries and peels off, leaving you with a stain “tattoo.” Typically, the tattoo will last 2 weeks.
