The room picture is NOT the space. It must be a fire hazard where they cram these children in a tiny room with no windows, hot and unbreathable air and no space to move whatsoever.
The teacher, Ms Janine is the best I have seen. She takes time with each student(or camper) depending which event you choose, and has the most creative projects and ideas. The children enjoy a brief slideshow in some classes and a short movie type in others, all art related. She uses an overhead TV monitor(2 of them) so children can follow along as she does the project and shows them step my step. She will also walk around to help them. She will also come and sit with them if there is room and isn’t a full class and do projects at the table alongside the students. Great for following directions, Patience, Communicating and Respect for other class participants, she teaches clean up and sharing. My son has Autism and she has always been accepting and patient with him. He adores her.
They have a very user friendly Website with PAY AS YOU GO to select classes, Camp sessions and book parties or evening functions.
Mr Ted is around to answer questions about classes and their daughter often helps with setting up and keeping the table supplies stocked. The studio is clean and colorful with many ideas and treasures displayed on the walls of past projects and masterpieces.
I highly recommend them. We have attended Homeschoolers classes on Weds afternoons, a few Saturday sessions ( before they had so many parties scheduled), Fri afternoon Advanced Cartooning( my sons favorite) and currently Camp, using many styles, and supplies ,including but not limited to: pastels, paints, crayons, markers, clay, construction paper, tissue paper and more. Many projects use common recyclable items to create something unique.
Check them out ! You will love them and be hooked, and even want to take a class yourself! Ages 5 & up.
My 8 year old tried out their summer camp last week and LOVED it. She couldn’t wait to go each day. They did 3 art projects each day. You can choose from a morning session or an afternoon session, but not both as they repeat the projects in the afternoon. I thought the $35/day was reasonable and affordable. She liked it so much she begged me to sign her up for a couple of more weeks. Note: the website is a little tricky to figure out but if you get confused just call them or email them. It’s not mandatory to register through the site, the owners seem more than happy to help over email or phone.
