The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation was founded by former tennis professional and ’96 Wimbledon finalist MaliVai Washington.

TnT is a daily after-school program. TnT (Tennis-n-Tutoring) operates from 3pm-6pm, Monday-Friday in the MaliVai Washington Youth Center. TnT contains 3 sessions daily which provide academic assistance, tennis/fitness activities and life skills classes. Each child also receives a nutritious snack daily. The program offers: Academic Support through homework assistance and mentors; Tennis and Fitness classes focusing on nutrition, introduction to the sport of tennis and practice for competitive play; Life Skills & Enrichment classes which are age appropriate and range from basic hygiene to pregnancy prevention. Safe Sitter® Class Description

Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.

Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice CPR and choking rescue!

I have familiarity with speech (articulation), fluency (stuttering), apraxia, language disorders, dyslexia, phonological disorders, reading, AAC (augmentative or alternative communication) devices, social skills, independent living behavior and language, cleft palate, Autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, low cognition, Down Syndrome, and some feeding and behavioral experience. I strive to learn from and creatively tailor my treatments to each child and family (every kid is different!).

At Growing Together we believe that all students affected by autism and other developmental disabilities can reach their fullest potential through an education based in structure, fun engagement with peers, and loving teachers and staff supporting and encouraging them daily. RoboThink’s monthly membership robotics club, located at iFly Indoor Skydiving on Mondays 5:00-6:30p, is designed to teach your child the full range of RoboThink’s innovative STEM robotics and coding courses. Graduating through levels starting as a Junior Engineer, your builder flies through an exciting journey of robotics technologies. RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. Our exciting STEM programs develop core STEM skills that students apply to school subjects and their future careers, while fostering a love for science and robotics. With RoboThink’s exclusive robotics kit and our STEAM curriculum that is NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) aligned, students have a blast learning about robotics, engineering, technology and other STEM subjects. Our Aviation Focused STEM Education Program is designed for middle school and high school students ages 11-18 (grades 6-12) who have expressed an interest in aviation and other STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related topics. To be successful and have fun in this course, your child should be currently enrolled in a public, charter or private school, or otherwise engaged in a homeschool curriculum, and doing well academically. The course is designed for students who have demonstrated an aptitude for independent learning and above-average social and intellectual maturity for their grade level.
