Musical Moments is an early childhood music studio. We proudly offer Kindermusik, the world’s leading provider of music and movement programs for children birth thru age 7. We are trusted, proven, educational, and fun! In every Kindermusik class, your child is welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where they will sing, move, play instruments, and hear stories—all while developing social skills, problem-solving skills, pre-math skills, and a foundation for reading. The emphasis of Splash Jax Swim School is to teach proper swim techniques while learning basic water safety in a fun, energetic atmosphere. The Splash Jax Swim School staff has been professionally trained to offer your child the latest in teaching and learning. Children are taught in small groups (4:1) which will allow them the ability to learn skills properly. Our number one goal is to teach your child to really swim, increasing their chance of survival in a water emergency. Divers Supply Swim School teaches the Swim Schools International standardized “Gold Script” curriculum. This proven Curriculum is appropriate for any person of any age and swimming ability. Our program focuses on a combination of water survival skills and swimming techniques. While keeping the lessons interesting and fun for the swimmer, safety is our number one priority.
Our lessons take place year round in our indoor heated pool and climate controlled facility. Your swimmer’s lessons can start or end at anytime with our Perpetual Lessons Program. Your swimmer can progress through their lessons at their pace as enrollment is always open and there are no session start and end dates.
Kids can use a real hammer and build something great at one of the various Build and Grow Clinics at Lowes. Registration opens a few weeks before each clinic’s date.
The Kids Workshops are FREE how-to clinics for children. The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children. Getting rid of all sensory input allows the ‘constantly-make-sure-you’re-not-dying’ part of your brain to chill out for a second. This lets the creative, relaxed part of your brain come out and play. Without the constant pressure of analyzing the world around you, your body lowers its levels of cortisol, the main chemical component of stress. When your levels of cortisol drop, your body begins releasing loads of endorphins, giving you a wonderful sense of well-being and happiness.
Not having to fight gravity lets your muscles, joints, and bones take a well-deserved break. Your body suddenly has loads of extra resources (usually spent supporting your weight, regulating temperature, and trying not to get speeding tickets), which it gets to focus on things like healing and resting.
Without old-man gravity pushing you down all the time, chronic and acute pain is relieved, and your muscles get to fully rest. Unlike lying on a mattress, lying in water allows blood to flow freely all throughout your body. There’s no need to readjust your position to get comfortable. Research shows that about 40 minutes into your float your brain stops producing its normal Alpha and Beta waves and starts going deeper into a Theta and even Delta state. The Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association is a North Florida youth sport association founded by three area coaches in 1989 for the purpose of promoting the sport of volleyball for school age students in the city and surrounding areas. After having moved in her 30s to Switzerland then to England, the Netherlands and to the States, she traveled back and forth during summer and Christmas and this allowed her to maintain her childhood friendships and the long life relationships.
Certified English as a Foreign Language teacher, she has a true passion for teaching. Having lived in five different countries and speaking five foreign languages has allowed her to embrace different cultures incorporating them in my cooking classes.
Today, she teaches cooking all around Jacksonville: private houses, clubhouses, retail shops and private venues. Collaborates with several chefs, restaurants and farms. She also teaches Italian and English as a foreign language online and is planning to a culinary tour to Italy in May 2021. She recently started virtual cooking classes to respond to the recent necessity of social distancing. She will be back to teaching in person end of summer.
She is also a proud member of BNI, Ponte Vedra Women’s Club, Women’s Food Alliance, Network of Women, First Coast Women’s Collaborative and First Coast Business Alliance, where she shares her knowledge and enriches herself.

FIRST COAST FUTSAL ACADEMY designs its futsal programs targeting players of all levels. We create a learning environment that focuses on building skills, confidence and encouraging creativity while enhancing a players’ passion for the game. The priority of our Futsal clinics is to work on players’ individual skills that coaches are not able to teach during team practices.
Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
We want each player to leave our futsal clinics with a soccer experience of a lifetime!
