Duval County 4-H camping opportunities provide great summer experiences for both 4-H members and prospective 4-H youth! Summer experiences include residential camps, day camps, and state-level sponsored teen programs. Camps are affordable, educational, and experiential for boys and girls ages 5 -18. and range in topics and prices
Sweet Pete’s can make your summer extra sugary and sweet! Become an official Sweet Pete Confectioner, learn the science behind candy, Sweeten up your art skills, design candy packaging and more.
Campers will learn to make four different candies during the week. Depending on age group they will design and draw packaging or work with a graphic designer to design packaging. Older campers will learn public speaking and giving tours of our building.
Ages 1st thru 4th Grade.

Your child will travel the world without leaving home! Immerse your child this summer in Spanish Camp for a week of fun, learning, and adventure. Children will discover one different country each week. Imagine your child discovering the lifestyles, customs, artists, musicians and inventors of major Spanish speaking countries.
FALA Spanish Camp offers age appropriate activities that uniquely incorporate different subjects. At FALA’s Camp your child will learn Spanish and about different countries through fun activities such as:

The LaVilla School of the Arts is proud to offer a summer camp that combines the arts, academics and physical play that ensures a wonderful summer! There are programs available in visual arts, dance, film, theatre, arts and crafts, instrumental music, cooking science, and early reading. New this year: Fantastic Beasts & other Artful Things. There is also a Jr. Counselor program for rising 9th and 10th graders.

The LaVilla School of the Arts programs are designed to accomodate your family’s summer schedule. Campers may attend the entirety of the 6 weeks or weekly – whatever fits your needs.

Registrations paid in full that are 4 weeks or longer will have the $50 registration fee waived. Full payment must be made at time of registration. Additional weeks may be added but will be charged a $50 registration fee. Extended care may be paid for separately.
Kids will learn cooking basics – chopping, whisking, measuring, blending, etc. They’ll work both individually on the morning snack recipes and as a team to create the main recipe of the day and sample their creation.
Classes are open to all children, they need not attend Christ’s Church Academy. Early Bird price is $275.
At JAX Cooking Studio, kids are taught to cook with whole foods from scratch. All classes are hands-on, and each child participates in preparing the food. At the end of each day, the kids eat what they have cooked. Yum! Kids also learn about kitchen safety and cleanliness, proper food handling, knife safety, how to read and follow recipes and make up your own recipes, how to accurately measure ingredients, how to arrange the kitchen workplace for success, how to reuse or repurpose ingredients already on hand, and how to keep your body healthy through proper nutrition.
