We offer Winter and Summer Sports Camps for students ages 5-12. These holiday camps are days full of sports, basketball, snacks, games, and fun! Children enjoy getting on the court and making friends, and upper-level athletes hone their skills.
Our Summer Basketball Camp is designed to teach players the basic fundamentals and team concepts of the game. At our summer basketball camp, players will go through individual, as well as team drills. Players will be instructed during “stations,” where they will work on individual basic fundamentals, while being supervised by a knowledgeable coach. Our goal is for each camper to have a positive experience at camp, while they are learning the fundamentals of basketball and having fun while doing it!
At All Sports Camp, campers participate in a variety of team sports and age-appropriate activities, including: basketball, soccer, flag football, kickball, tag and more! Each day our summer camp is filled with fun and challenging activities. Campers are required to bring a lunch Monday – Thursday. If your camper will be in extended care, please remember to provide an extra snack! Every Friday we provide the campers with pizza lunch and an afternoon of bowling. Campers will be divided into groups based on their age. All family and friends will be allowed to be grouped together, regardless of age.
Camps are open to all and offered from May to August for kindergarten through grade 12. Sports camps stress the love of the game, and activities and arts camps allow students to explore a passion with supervision and support. Courses allow older students to enjoy the subject matter at a relaxed pace, with fewer students and greater teacher attention. Episcopal’s inclusive and caring environment allows campers to focus on what is important: improving academics, athletics, and fine arts skills and having fun! The Discovery School has been serving the Jacksonville Beach area for over 30 years and remains committed to cultivating an inclusive and vibrant community that promotes knowledge, creativity, independent thinking, and mutual respect. The Discovery School offers various educational, athletic, and creative camps for children ages 3 through 14 for the Summer of 2023! Summer camp participants will enjoy the amenities of a beautiful campus with updated classrooms, a music studio, a STEAM lab, and a basketball court. Jax Surf Camp, hosted by Jax Surf & Paddle, is a great way for your little surfer to learn, grow, and have tons of fun this year. Camp is open to any child aged 6-16 who is able to swim. Spring camps run March – April and Summer camps run from June – August. We offer two half-day camps ( Morning 5 sessions M-F or Afternoon 5 sessions M-F), full day (Morning and Afternoon 10 sessions M-F), and single-day camps for both spring and summer sessions to help fit your busy schedule.
Camps feature a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio in calm conditions, and additional teachers are brought in during any rough conditions. Ocean safety and your little surfer’s safety is a major focus of our day. Keeping your child safe is number one.
Our Spring Camp & Summer Camp location is in sunny Atlantic Beach. The address is 7th St and Beach Avenue, Atlantic Beach, Florida, 32233 (Drop-Off Public Beach Access). We grew up surfing this area and prefer the less crowded and family-friendly location. If needed, park along Beach Avenue, Club Drive, 7th Street, or Ocean Boulevard. Watch out for no parking at the top of beach access!
Camp curriculum consists of learning how to surf and improving the current surfing skill set. Each camp will feature lessons and demonstrations as well as lots of practice.
Lesson Plan: ocean safety, correct stance, pop-ups, proper paddle technique, entering/exiting the ocean, standing up, riding, and falling.
Other activities throughout the week might also include paddleboarding, yoga & stretching, relay races, beach sports, races, exercise, and classroom-style whiteboard sessions. All skill levels are welcome at our camp. After day one evaluation, campers break out into age/skill-appropriate groups to maximize the fun and learning curves for students. If we are familiar with your surfer, we can place them in the appropriate skill-level group. All 5-day camp graduates receive a goody bag and pizza party on Fridays!

With a variety of camps offered for kids aged 8 – 17, White Oak provides the opportunity to interact with endangered wildlife and conservation specialists across our 17,000-acre, remote property in northeast Florida. Campers experience unique programs which impact people, place, and animals around the world. Our innovative curriculum, experiential learning, and STEM programs immerse campers in the natural world combining wildlife, science, and leading experts in conservation to create a fun and dynamic camp.
Throughout the week, campers are granted unparalleled access to the facilities including our wildlife habitats, veterinary clinics, and world-class conference centers. When school is out, Zoo Camp is in! Kids spend a day at the zoo creating crafts, playing games, viewing animal presentations and shows, trekking through the zoo, talking with keepers, and more. Our qualified educators guide groups of no larger than 12 students (per counselor) through an exciting, fun-filled adventure at The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park.
Our zoo camps combine outdoor education with entertainment where your kids will enjoy learning about wildlife, getting an introduction to zoological conservation, and making new friends! Zoo Camp is open for students entering 1st through 6th grade. Lunch and a snack are provided daily.

TNT offers a one-of-a-kind camp experience! Bring your children to TNT and know that they will spend their days off in a safe, energetic, fun camp setting that encourages gymnastics skill development, socializing, and creativity!
Get your kids up and moving over Summer Break in our air-conditioned facility. Your child will spend their days doing gymnastics, crafts, games, challenging fitness skills, and (most importantly) having fun! All camps are for school ages children 5-12 Yrs. old.
Each week we have certain themes and create games, crafts, and challenges to match those themes! For example, week 1 is “Dive into Summer” – that week, we will be doing all aquatic-themed crafts and games that focus on the fun in the sea but offer educational components as well!
During extended day hours, campers are in our camp room, where they are allowed to color, play games, watch a movie, or use their devices. The only time children are allowed to use personal devices, such as Nintendo Switch, i-pads, etc, is during this time. No devices are allowed during camp hours. As a general reminder, we encourage these devices to be left at home so they are not lost or broken, as TNT is not liable for personal items. There is also a designated afternoon snack time in the 3-6 PM extended care hours.

Come create! Doing Dishes Summer Art Camp Workshops are celebrating 16 years of summer fun. These fun and step by step workshops will get the creative juices flowing for ages 7 and up. Each session has a different theme and project. Campers will create at least two great projects a day, project mediums include, pottery painting, clay and glass fusion. Ages 7+.

This camp offers an exciting introduction into the basics of Paleontology! This exciting adventure in Paleontology will have your child playing in the dirt and having the time of their lives! Camp Jr. Veterinarian
Does your child LOVE animals? This camp is a young person’s ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Our lessons will give young vets an opportunity to look into the exciting careers of veterinarians, and allow them to be involved in related hands-on activities and experiments. Each camper will even receive their own stethoscope and make their own medical kit! Campers are NOT to bring their own pets to camp

Camp Jr. Space Engineer
Using LEGO® bricks, campers will design and build structures and space vehicles for living on far away planets. Campers will utilize a variety of LEGO® bricks including motors, gears, lights, and sensors. Space Engineer includes instruction on the Earth, Moon, stars, and planets as well as the scientific topics of force, friction, simple machines, and gravity. Campers will also join the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to learn about propulsion, friction and more. Counselors will assign specific projects each day that include: a rotating satellite, space buggy, a stunning spaceship, terrestrial homes that can withstand alien atmospheres and a host of other exciting projects. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. Full-day Camps also include two separate ESTES® rocket builds, and an epic launch demonstration on the final day of camp!

Surfing is a great way for kids to stay active. At Thompson Surf School we make the experience FUN for all children, regardless of age and ability. Safety is most important to us, so we only use soft surfboards. Our instructors are professional surfers, watermen, and waterwomen with years of surfing experience and ocean knowledge. We not only teach the fundamentals of surfing, but we educate children on the ocean environment and ocean safety.

WINTER WONDER DAYS
Come join your friends at The Playgarden for Wonderful Winter Days. We will create crafts, enjoy seasonal snacks, and enjoy the mild Florida weather as we explore The Playgarden grounds and beach.
This extended school year program provides enrichment, maintenance, and remediation of academic skills in a fun, values-based environment. Students entering Kindergarten through sixth grade enjoy structured learning activities in a blended learning environment that include small group instruction, collaborative work, and computer-assisted instruction. Our Creative Me! Summer Camp Program promotes exploration and discovery of the art world. To help foster that growth we give our students the opportunity to think outside the box while working on their teacher-guided art projects. Your child’s week at camp will be centered around a specific art theme. Within that theme, they will explore a variety of age-appropriate materials and hands-on processes, while having a great time! Just have your child wear old clothes and bring a small snack!

GirlsTech Summer Camp is a six-week STEM learning experience for upper elementary and middle school girls. Hands on project-based learning activities include coding, game design, wearable technology, robotics engineering, 3D modeling & printing, and more. Outdoor recreation, field trips, literacy and math games are all part of the FUN! Breakfast, lunch and snack provided.
Cost: $125 per student/per week. $25 non-refundable registration fee.

Camps are hourly options each week rather than week long camps. This offers stability of reading instruction over the summer while still allowing vacation or day camp participation elsewhere. The cost is set for affordability. It is $360 for 2 sessions per week for 8 weeks (16 hours of instruction) or $700 for 4 sessions per week for the 8 weeks (saving $40).
The reading camp is designed for struggling readers. There are 2 groups: K-2 and 3-5. EDS uses research based programs that are direct, intensive and repetitive. In the first hour, the student will work on decoding and encoding strategies while in the second hour, the student works on comprehension and written expression. Stability with decoding is necessary before embarking on comprehension instruction. All instruction is fun and rewarding! Join us and make your summer one to remember.

Experienced art educators teach a variety of media and skills through creative art-making while providing the contemporary art history context for each project. This year we are excited to announce that we have MOCA Summer Art Camp Scholarships thanks to a generous donation from the Win Gartner Memorial Fund. Scholarships are available for one session per camper only and cover 100% of registration and extended day fees. Low-income families and/or families who have undergone recent financial hardship are eligible, and there is a limit of two scholarships per household (one per camper). Applications must be submitted no later than May 1. Submitting this application does not guarantee your child a session at Summer Art Camp. Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore the artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the Cummer Museum is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for the Summer Camp 2020. Scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to individuals interested in the arts. If awarded, scholarships cover 100% of the registration cost. Campers applying for a scholarship cannot register for Summer Camp in advance. Once contacted regarding their scholarship status, applicants will be directed to register for Summer Camp through an online Registration Form for scholarship recipients.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete a Scholarship Application Form. If the form is not completed, the applicant will not be considered. Applications will be reviewed weekly and applicants will typically hear back within seven days. This is a rolling application and Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who qualify. At JAX Cooking Studio, kids are taught to cook with whole foods from scratch. All classes are hands-on, and each child participates in preparing the food. At the end of each day, the kids eat what they have cooked. Yum! A GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION, is excited to host our first-ever SMART (Summer Micro- Automotive Robotics Team) Car Camp. SMART Car Camp will introduce rising 8th, 9th and 10th grade students to the advanced technology in the automotive industry.

We are a bouldering gym in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Bouldering is rock climbing in its most pure form. It is a sport that is fun for the whole family.
All camps will be held Monday-Friday from 8:30am-12:00pm.
What to expect
Each day climbers will be fitted with rental climbing shoes and harnesses provided by Beaches Rock Gym.
All sessions start with stretching, rules presentation, and goal setting. Each day will include a variety of climbing instruction, climbing games, snack time, mindfulness, and free climb.

Please have each child bring a reusable water bottle. We have a water fountain for easy refills.
We will have a short snack time each day. Please pack a small snack for your climber to give them some mid-day fuel.

The Sports Edge Basketball Camp will be directed by Bolles Head Varsity Basketball Coach Jason Hughes. This camp will focus on the overall development of skills and fundamentals with station work, followed by individual and team contests throughout the week.
We will have 1-on-1, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 tournaments with championships culminating during the final day of camp. Contests will include hotshot, FT, 3 pt, and many more. Awards will be given on the final day at the awards ceremony.
