White Oak Conservation Summer Residential Camps
White Oak’s residential STEM camps give your child the opportunity to experience wildlife conservation while learning from leading experts! Campers will explore conservation across the globe as they learn about the threats animals face worldwide and the work necessary to ensure the survival of wildlife.
This summer, students will embark on a global journey into conservation.
Each day they will learn about threats to nature on a different continent,
connecting to not only animals but people and places as well. This will give
them the opportunity to learn about the cultural implications for conservation as
well as encourage empathy for people and wildlife. Your student will
leave camp with critical thinking and leadership skills that will enhance their
ability to make decisions that benefit people and wildlife worldwide. While at
White Oak, they will gain independence and make friendships and memories
that will last a lifetime!
Activities at camp go beyond the classroom! Campers will enjoy the famous Gilman Hall, horseback riding, boating, tennis, basketball, hiking, and much more!
Camp will conclude with a family-friendly presentation on Friday evening.
