Secret Little Etsy (It’s as addicting as Pinterest!)

Heard of Etsy? If you haven’t gone to the bathroom in a while I suggest you do because you may just pee your pants with excitement! Well, just go anyway because once you start browsing on Etsy you could be there for a bit.

Etsy is an online marketplace where crafters and designers from all over sell their wares. We are not just talking crocheted baby blankets. Endless amounts of unique items from talented people that love their craft. When you purchase something from Etsy as a present I guarantee the response will be “Oh my gosh! I love it! Where did you get it?”

They have an app too and trust me, it’s as addicting as Pinterest. But the best part is here you can just buy the stuff instead of dreaming you might actually make that crayon wreath for your kid’s teacher one day. As birthdays and holidays approach, think about buying on Etsy where you have the option to buy local, homemade and upcycled goods! Did I mention they have gift cards?

Here are a few picks that I collected just for you mommas out there…

My Finds on Etsy

1. Tea Party Pink Cut out Digital Custom Invitation Card Printable  $12 2. Bubblegum Beaded Necklace  $22 3. Turkey Baby Hat  $34 4. Book Sling (customizable fabric)  $30 5. Florida Gator’s Man Cave Sign  $25 6. Mother 3 Three Children Necklace  $110 7. University of Florida Gators Game Day Tank Dress Upcycled T-Shirts  $47.50 8. Mason Jar Wall Organizer  $30

A few tips before you start shopping:

  • There isn’t the “Oh, crap I forgot about Allie’s birthday on Saturday!” overnight shipping kind of thing. You need to allow for at least 1-2 weeks to get your item. Trust me, it’s worth the wait!
  • Secondly, if you see a piece but wish it had a little something added to it or in a different color just message the seller. They love to create custom pieces and I’ve found that they are more than willing to accommodate your wishes. Don’t forget to leave them great feedback too!

You can find this collection and more in a special treasury I created just for JMB readers! Click here to view!

Tiffany
Tiffany never dreamed she would be mom material let alone a SAHM! Leaving her full-time job as a marketing manager/graphic designer, Tiffany set out to explore the world of spit-up, Sesame Street and sleep deprivation. Managing her two little ones has definitely proven to be a challenge of patience and will but at the end of the day those sweet faces make each day fulfilling. Married to her husband of ten years, the couple takes every opportunity to explore new places even if it means being out of their comfort zone. Outside of her children and spouse, Tiffany truly enjoys vintage stores, photography with her beloved Nikon, a good facial, wine and chick flicks. Her role at Jacksonville Moms Blog will be to take her readers through the journey of living greener. It’s sure to be a great resource for using easy-to-create household cleaners to what to do with all of that food your toddler just wasted!

  1. I love Etsy as well. I buy things, get ideas and sell my quilts on there as well. I am actually about to add a bunch of quilts for purchase! Tammy / Gamedayquilts
