The 2019 Halloween Candy Buyback

The Great Halloween Candy BuybackIt’s that time of year! Halloween is upon us, which equals lots of fun, spooky events, creative costumes, and — everyone’s favorite — candy! But while one of the greatest Halloween traditions of all time is the mom-raiding of the kids’ candy haul, none of us want to deal with the weeks-long sugar binge from our kids or the extra five pounds we get from snacking on endless fun-size Snickers and Twix. But the good news is, there is such a thing as candy buybacks! Many local dentists participate with Operation Gratitude to take that extra candy off your hands, which is then sent in care packages to troops stationed overseas. The mission of Operation Gratitude is to lift spirits, bring a smile to a service member’s face, and express to our troops the appreciation of the American people.

Here are some local options to get that extra candy off your hands, help raise some military morale, and — bonus! — maybe even get a little cash, too!
