Summer is just around the corner and school will be out soon, so it is time to head to the park! Community First Credit Union and Jacksonville Mom are excited to present our 6th annual Summer Park Hop Series! Park Hops are free events taking place throughout the summer at different parks in and around Jacksonville. Bring the kids and meet other moms from your neighborhood or make an adventure and try a new park you’ve never been to! Make fun summer memories as you explore all of the great outdoor spaces that Jacksonville has to offer. The Park Hops will feature themed activities for the kids, cool treats, vendors, and more.
Before each event, Jacksonville Mom will have updated, detailed information about the Park Hop, including a link to RSVP through our Facebook page. We hope you’ll join us in making this a summer to remember!
Please understand that we cannot accommodate all schedules. Based on past years attendance and birthday party/special events/recreational sports schedules at the parks we are not able to do weekend park hops. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Park Hop GIVEAWAY! Want to be a total baller at our Park Hop at the Jumbo Shrimp Game on July 23rd? We will choose one lucky winner to have the Community First Suite at the Jumbo Shrimp Game that evening AND the opportunity to throw out the first pitch of the game!!! Fernandina Beach Pirate Playground -This playground, set in a breezy, shaded area amongst the trees, is like nothing our region has seen before. The community-accessible playground integrates exercise, art, nature, music, imagination, and local history for children of all physical and mental abilities. Parents can relax on benches or at nearby picnic tables, and there are restrooms close by. RSVP on the Facebook Event page.
Wednesday, July 17th – 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Boone Park – Boone Park is located in the beautiful Avondale area. Spanning 7 blocks, Boone Park has plenty of room to play at this unique playground with climbing structures that will inspire both younger and older children. Join us at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville for Family Park Hop Night With Community First! As one of the premier Minor League ballparks in North American, the Baseball Grounds and Jumbo Shrimp games are perfect for a family night out with comfortable seating, easy access to concessions and bathrooms and there is even a playground inside the ballpark! Jack Russell Park – Our Park Hop finale will be at Russell Park, located in Atlantic Beach. Join us as we celebrate an amazing summer at one of the beaches best parks! RSVP on the Facebook Event page.
