Jacksonville Moms Blog and Jacksonville Magazine are thrilled to bring you our First Annual Family Foodie Fare at MOSH on Thursday, April 7, 6-8pm! Duval County students are out of school the next day, so it’s the perfect evening to get out on the town as a family. We will have some of the top restaurants in Jacksonville competing Top Chef-style for the best adult and kid food pairing. Come enjoy a family night out, sample some of the best food and drink Jax has to offer, exciting science demos from MOSH, giveaways, and swag bag items including Dino passes from Jacksonville Zoo, Fresh Wave, Pump It Up and more!
We’re thrilled to have delicious pairings from TacoLu, Hawkers Five Points, IL DESCO, V Pizza, Culhane’s Irish Pub and Cruisers! Cold-pressed juice samples from Watts Juicery. Intuition Ale Works will be serving up beer pops created by The Hyppo and of course non-alcoholic pops for the kids, and more treats from Sweet Pete’s Candy and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt at Pablo Creek Plaza!
Chic Booth, a Jacksonville-based luxuary photo booth company, will be there with fun props and you’ll be able to take home a keepsake photo! Community First Credit Union will be there with some fun. CFCU is celebrating MOSH’s 75th anniversary by giving you a free membership! I love the idea of this event. Will this be an event for children of all ages? I have a 3 year old who is her own type of foodie. She is actually the most healthy eater in our home! The best part about it is that she was also the one who created her special diet. At 2 years old, she started asking for things like green beans, apples, green beans, bananas, green beans, carrots. Oh and I mentioned green beans, right? Obviously her favorite choice at any time of day is green beans. She’s now 3, her healthy diet is more broad. I think this event will be perfect for her but wanted to make sure she’d be able to attend.
