JMB Summer Park Hop: Losco Park

Join us for a morning of bike riding fun at second park hop of the summer from 9-11am on Monday, June 19! Losco Regional Park is located on Hood Road South, north of Losco Road near Julington Creek. Losco Park boasts plenty of paved trails, perfect for your favorite wheeled activity. Bring the bikes or scooters and don’t forget a helmet! Safe Kids Northeast Florida, led by THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health/Wolfson Children’s Hospital, will be on hand to inspect and fit your child’s bike helmet. If your child’s helmet no longer fits, is damaged, or if they don’t have one, helmets will be available to purchase for a $5 donation to Safe Kids Northeast Florida. This a great opportunity to make sure your kids are ready for summer wheeled activities.

Girly-Girl Partea’s Mermaid Princess (Ariel inspired) will make an appearance at 10 AM in the 2nd hour to meet & greet families! The kids will love getting a chance to meet and take a photo with one of the most popular princesses!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will also join Jacksonville Moms Blog for this park hop. They are looking for mothers and their families, as well as family-focused companies to join their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 21 at Metropolitan Park, is a 5K awareness and fundraising event to support breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs in our community.

Bring lots of drinking water, sunscreen, towels, bikes or scooters, helmets, and a camera to catch some cool pictures of your little ones. We hope you can join us for the second stop of our summer park hop series!
