The Great Halloween Candy Buyback

Every kid loves going trick-or-treating for Halloween. And let’s be honest, us moms? We’re not complaining about a good candy haul, either. Still, no one wants their kid going on a weeks-long sugar binge, and hiding it doesn’t really work either; then the only person binging on candy is, well, Mom. So what do you do with the extra candy? The great news is that there are tons of options for candy buybacks! Many dentists in the area team up with Operation Gratitude to take candy donations, which are then included in care packages sent to troops serving overseas. The mission of Operation Gratitude is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member’s face, and express to our Armed Forces the appreciation and support of the American people.

Here are some local options for participating in candy buybacks — and, bonus! Some even offer you cash for your candy. Score!
