Admission is $10 per car and can be purchased at the farm the day of the event by cash or credit card. Vendors include Tin Can Photo Lounge, sampling by Wicked Barley Brewing Company, crafts and activities (while supplies last) with Creative Grain Studio, Bumble and Bee Babysitting, Front Porch Pickings, Bluebird Growers, The Jacksonville Humane Society, Renaissance Youth Soccer Shots and Engineering for Kids, Art Farm Collectibles, Busy Momma Bath Products, Jax Play Day, music hour at 10 AM and a mini play zone for the little ones sponsored by Bay & Bee, a scavenger hunt and story time with Usborne Books and more local and family-friendly merchants.

Native Sun Natural Foods Market will also have gluten-free Ginger Molasses cookies and fresh pressed juice for purchase. Good Dough will also be joining us with mini doughnuts in several flavors for $2 each. In addition, one of Jacksonville’s newest pop shops, Hit Pops, will be on site with their delicious, handmade ice pops! Made from simple, fresh ingredients with no preservatives or additives, their pops come in a variety of flavors from fruity to spicy to suit all taste buds. Each pop’s name is a unique play on a popular music artist or song. Beech-Nut Food for babies will also be onsite with samples and Josie’s Latin Fusion will also be on-hand with their food truck with unique latin inspired menu items like empanadas, Miami Cuban, specialty hot dog and more.
Pumpkins will also be available to purchase. Furry friends are welcome but must stay on leash at all times. Both cash and credit cards are accepted at Congaree and Penn, some vendors may vary. Please mind the detour; there is a bridge closed near the farm and the detour is a switchback to the farm, a simple path, click here for directions. We’re excited to share the farm with the Jacksonville Moms Blog community! Event photography sponsored by Corinna Hoffman Photography.
About Congaree and Penn
In 2014, Congaree and Penn began as a tiny rice farm and has grown from four acres of rice paddies into a thriving farm of orchards and animals. Congaree and Penn boasts the largest (and youngest) Mayhaw orchard in the world, after planting over 2,000 trees throughout the past few years. In 2016, Congaree and Penn began juicing seasonal fruit from local farms to produce shrubs, their nod to a Colonial era pastime. As they expand the orchard, pressing and milling operations, Congaree and Penn continues to innovate and introduce new produce and products. The farm is also a stunning destination for weddings, farm dinners, tours and workshops.
