We are thrilled to introduce three of JMB’s contributors! Kacey, Jessica and Luanne will be blogging regularly about all things MOM! We thought this would be a fun way to get to know them before our launch October 1st. Enjoy!
Kacey Roache
Mom to my sassy spunky Lucy (5 going on 15…Seriously, she wants to be Katy Perry for Halloween!?) and my loud, but super sweet Lucas (3). And soon to be mom to Lola in late November.
A few of my favorite things: Andy Cohen and all things Bravo TV, celebrity gossip, wine, traveling, tennis, musical theatre, art, Pinterest, Houzz, biting my nails and long strolls through Target.
Best kept secret in Jacksonville: The M Lounge at Matthews in San Marco. Fantastic bar menu (small plates for either 4, 6, or 8 dollars) and great cocktails and drink specials! The bartenders are super cute too (Bonus!!!). The bar is rarely crowded and there is often live music on Thursday nights.
My best Mommy talent is my ability to totally tune out my kids fighting or being loud.
Jessica Morgan
Mom to Curly-haired, spunky Pickles (Lily, 4) and rough-and-tumble Hank the Tank (Henry, 2).
A few of my favorite things: My husband’s cooking, hugs from my kids, a really good cup of coffee, putting my toes in the sand.
Best kept secret in Jacksonville: La Nopalera’s queso.
My best Mommy talent is: I am extremely patient. Also, I am a big kid myself, so I can relate to my kid’s wide-eyed amazement in the simplest of things.
Luanne Luby
Mom to the good sleeper, bad eater and monkey lover Annalise (age 2) and little brother or sister-to-be (35 week bump).
A few of my favorite things: Wine, brownies, ice cream, science and data, twilight (the time of day not the series).
Best kept secret in Jacksonville: German Schnitzel House, chicken nuggets at Tijuana Flats, brownie sundae at Sun Dog…it is clearly NOT a secret that I like food.
My best Mommy talent is ignoring tantrums like its my job…oh wait, it is!!
Love hearing fun facts about our fabulous contributors!
