Join us for our fitness themed park hop at Chuck Rogers Park on Thursday, July 7 from 9-11am! Located in Mandarin, off of San Jose Boulevard, Chuck Rogers offers a playground, paved trails, picnic tables, and plenty of space to run around making it a perfect place to play!
We are so excited to have Jax Stroller Strength of Mandarin join us for this park hop! Stroller Strength trainers will be hosting exercise themed activities for the kids during the park hop, including a fun run featuring bibs, medals and various distances for all ages. Be sure to check in at the Stroller Strength table before 10am if your child wants to participate in the fun run. Stroller Strength lets moms workout with their kids and gives them a chance to connect with other mothers. Boot camp style classes are offered every day of the week at the beaches and/or at the Mandarin location, and the Mandarin classes are held at Chuck Rogers on Mondays, Wednesday, or Fridays at 9am.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will also join Jacksonville Moms Blog at Chuck Rogers Park for this park hop. They are looking for mothers and their families, as well as family-focused companies to join their Strides With Strollers Challenge. This walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd at Hemming Park, is a 5K awareness and fundraising event to support breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs in our community.
And no park hop is complete without a sweet treat! Tikiz Shaved Ice and Ice Cream will be on site with their delicious, cold treats. Famous for their “surv board” where guests can dispense their own fruit syrup creations, Tikiz is a great way to beat the summer heat.
