JMB Summer Park Hop: Mandarin Park

Join us at Mandarin Park on Wednesday, June 27 from 9-11am at our second Park Hop of the season! Mandarin Park is tucked away in the woods along the river and features walking trails, a boat ramp, dock, and plenty of shaded places to play on the playground equipment.

Safe Kids Northeast Florida, led by THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health/Wolfson Children’s Hospital, will be on hand to inspect and fit your child’s bike helmet. If your child’s helmet no longer fits, is damaged, or if they don’t have one, helmets will be available to purchase for a $5 donation to Safe Kids Northeast Florida. This a great opportunity to make sure your kids are ready for summer wheeled activities.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream will be stopping by with samples of their delicious ice cream and Italian ice! Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is made the old-fashioned way, with slow kettle processing designed specifically to create the Bruster’s flavor. It’s a process that simply makes Bruster’s A Scoop Above The Rest.

Doing Dishes Pottery will join us with a fun, family-friendly craft. Doing Dishes believes that painting pottery should be fun and relaxing, and they always offer a warm atmosphere and friendly smile in their studios.

We’re also so excited to welcome a surprise guest from Girly-Girl Partea’s! This exciting guest will be there at 10 AM in the 2nd hour to meet & greet families!

The Learning Experience will also be on site with a fun children’s activity! The Learning Experience was built on three key educational and care principles: cognitive, physical, and social; or as they say at TLE, “learnplay, and grow!”

Bring lots of drinking water, sunscreen, towels, bikes or scooters, helmets, and a camera to catch some cool pictures of your little ones. We hope you can join us for the second stop of our summer park hop series!
