Our mission at Parent Empowerment Groups is to encourage, educate, and empower those who are raising an exceptional child. It is my goal to be a champion for these children and advocate for an education that is #AppropriateForAll.
Parent Empowerment Groups was founded by Gina Schlicksup, a mother who shares this rollercoaster ride of life with her hardworking husband of 14 years and 4 kiddos. Prior to welcoming her first child into the world, taught early childhood special education in Texas and Illinois. Now a homeschooling mama, she spends her days creating educational opportunities that meet her kids’ unique needs and teaching others to be an empowered, strong, informed voice for their own exceptional child.
