The Hundred Thirty-Six Acre Wood

Join us for a morning beneath the shade of a live oak tree as we bring A.A. Milne’s beloved classic to life at the Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens!
In partnership with the Hicks Honors College at UNF, Hundred Thirty-Six Acre Wood invites children and their parents to enjoy a special outdoor story time surrounded by the beauty of nature. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and snacks to enjoy during the reading. Light refreshments will also be available for purchase.
This event is presented in partnership with the Hicks Honors College at UNF and Honors students Ceydee Schellenberg (International Studies & Interdisciplinary Studies), Camille Murphy (English), Wyatt Washington (ASL & English), and Mary Page (Deaf Education).
