Allie never would have guessed that she’d be calling Jacksonville, Florida home, but here she is! A midwest native, she’s lived in Indiana, New York City, Jax, Chicago and has now returned to the First Coast with her family—husband Jonny, two toddlers, Adair & Fitz, and an ageless cockapoo. Her professional history and range of passions is as all-over the map as her home bases. With degrees in musical theatre and journalism, Allie has worked both as Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader (go ROAR!) and, most recently, a senior content strategist. She loves being a mom more than anything in the world (even wine) and is excited to be sharing the ups and downs of her journey with you.

Christie Pettus is a full time working wife and mother living her suburban cul de sac dream in Orange Park, Fl. She is Mom to two awesome teenagers, McKenzie and Ethan, who have come to accept that certain parts of their lives will be blogged about, so they should act accordingly. As graduates of the University of Florida, her and her husband Ryan can be found rooting on their alma mater every chance they get including the more obscure sports. LaCrosse anyone? When she’s not judging her kids’ questionable teenage choices, she can be found hiding in a room buried in a good book or writing, editing, and dreaming about being a full-time author.

Jena is a stay-at-home working mom, a wife to her adoring husband Paul, and mom to energetic and hilarious little girls, Isla Grace, Hannah, and Naomi. Being a dancer, cheerleader and gymnast in her youth, Jena has always been athletic but it wasn’t until after college when her real love for exercise began. Three years after graduating from college a friend convinced her to sign up for her first 15k and the next thing she knew she was running past Jack Sparrow in her first marathon at Walt Disney World! Jena recently became certified to teach group fitness. She hopes to “pump” other moms up with fitness tips, trends and information to keep them going strong no matter what motherhood throws their way!

Originally an ATLien, Katie Jones has lived in Jacksonville since 2009 with her super handy husband and their high-strung mutt dog, Maybelle. Katie is a momma of two girls – sweet princess Lila joined the party in April 2015, and little sister (a.k.a. the no limit solider) Lennox made her debut in June 2017. When Katie is not celebrating her love of sarcasm and humor, or writing posts for her design and lifestyle blog, she’s busy designing interiors as her full-time job in the residential construction field, or tackling DIY renovation projects of her own. See above: “handy husband.” She loves the camaraderie of Jacksonville Mom and is thrilled to be part of a community where we can laugh and figure this whole life and motherhood thing out together!
