THE WIZ (TYA)

JACKSONVILLE, Fl.— Stage Aurora Theatrical Company’s 100 Youth Voices holds a performance for “The Wiz” (TYA). Come with us as we Ease on Down the Road in this Tony-award winning iconic musical.

Winner of 7 Tony awards, this beloved Broadway musical sets Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz to music in a dazzling, lively mixture of rock, gospel, and soul! The Wiz first appeared on Broadway in 1974 and was written by William F. Brown with Music and Lyrics by Charles Smalls.

“The Wiz.” (TYA) will be presented on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 2PM and 5PM and performed by a cast of nearly 40 young, talented singers and dancers.
The musical will be directed by Dr. Darryl Reuben Hall assisted by Board Member Jann Clark. Stage Aurora’s General Company Manager is Dolores Hall, Ed.D.
