St. Johns Reading Room specialize in one-one-one reading intervention for students with reading difficulties and/or disabilities. Our curriculum is designed to provide high-quality, engaging, interactive instruction to build strong readers. At SJRR we utilize strengths of the Orton-Gillingham and LiPS programs for our comprehensive foundational reading program.
We have teachers, not tutors, who are all Florida certified educators with extensive experience and expertise in teaching. Everything we do is 1-on-1, with the same teacher for every session. Following each session, your child’s teacher will communicate what was learned during the session as well as provide at-home resources to reinforce the lesson.
After having an extensive waiting list the past few years, our brand new Roberts Road center has created immediate enrollment opportunities for new students. We are also direct pay providers through Step Up for Students!
