These Are a Few of My Favorite Things…

Lipsticks and glosses

with liner and brushes

Primer and potions

with hand softening lotions

All on my wish list

plus sparkle and bling

These are a few of my FAVORITE things…….

Yes, I know, it’s only November, BUT if I wait too long to tell y’all about all these fabulous finds….they’ll be sold out.

When I worked in retail, people would sit outside the doors to get their hands on the holiday sets that would usually debut the beginning of November. Now’s the time to get those brush sets and palettes you’ve had your eyes on. There are deals everywhere, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorites. Plus some of these are local shops, and I love supporting local where I can.

I love monograms. Yes, I do. And if I can find a place to stick one, I will. So why not add a pretty monogram or name to a boring mason jar or vinyl brush holder? Embellished does all kinds of work and they’re wonderful to work with!

Can I get a WOW for this gorgeous necklace and bracelet?!? Couture Jems is always one of my go places for gifts. She is super sweet and talented. You name it, she can make it. Love her pieces!

No outfit is complete for the holidays (or any day) without some statement shoes. I saw these while I was working a fashion show a few months ago and found out they were from Carla’s shoes, so I went there to try them on. Charlie and his staff are an absolute joy to work with! Are they not super fun!!! Talk about adding a little spice to your wardrobe.

I mentioned I love a monogram, right? Well, I couldn’t help myself. Plaid is all the rage right now and I thought, why not add some sass to the plaid by adding a monogram to the rolled cuff. I ran over to Embellished and she did it for me. Love how it turned out. BTW, the month of November, they’re having some fabulous giveaways. Make sure you check out their Facebook page.

Ok, so now for the beauty stuff!

Have y’all gotten a whiff of the Jo Malone perfumes? I LOOOVE them, and they just came out with their new scent.

Who doesn’t love blush? The Tarte Amazonian clay blushes are so so great! Well, Sephora just came out with a palette of five of their most popular colors! It’s definitely a hit.  Run and get this.  I bought one and am contemplating buying another.

To keep all my makeup together, I love the Trish McEvoy planners. Right now they have a Micro Mini planner in Gold that is perfect for your purse or clutch. Whether you use TM products or not, this is a great beauty planner!

I know I’ve mentioned these liners before, and they’re definitely worth mentioning again. NARS Larger Than Life pencils are worth every penny. They’re long wearing (yes, you can wear them in waterline) and do not smudge.

As the days start getting colder (it is going to start, right Florida?), our lips tend to lose hydration and get flakey. The Lush lip scrub is wonderful (and all natural). They always have fun flavors for the holidays too! This season’s flavor is called Santa. Rub it on your lips and lick it off when you’re done. It’s all natural, do no harm done.

This. This is what people clamor over EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR. MAC brush sets. Now is the time to get them. NOW. Everyone balks at the cost of brushes, so this is when you should get them. You’ll never get a MAC brush set for any cheaper. Their prices range depending on which brushes you want. Here’s my only disclaimer: the brush sets are not the same as the individual brushes. They are manufactured, so don’t expect them to feel the same as the costlier brushes. They will get the job done. And for those younger girls that are dying for their first set of brushes, these are perfect as well.

My hands get SUUUPER dry during the winter months. Between the amount of sanitizing I do and just having drier skin naturally, I need something good. Enter the Kiehls Hand salve.  Hello holy grail of softness!!! This leaves my hands soft without greasy.

NARS just came out with their new collection for the holiday as well. This eyeshadow is on my list for must haves! The olive color will pair well with all eye colors. Plus the sparkle in it is just perfect for a beautiful smokey party eye! And who doesn’t want some “Stud” in their life?

Normally, I’m all about a cheap mascara. I’ve talked about my love of drugstore mascara before. This Bobbi Brown Extreme Party mascara keeps bringing me back for more! It’s amazing what this does for my lashes.

And last, but not least, you CANNOT go this holiday season without the lip. I always have one of these two on hand. One nude/pink color and one red. You can wear either of these two colors with a holiday eye! Bobbi Brown Vixen Red and MAC Faux.

So now that I’ve told you MY favorite things….what are some of yours?

Here are some fun bloopers from our little mini shoot. Also, being a non-model is real hard Y’all! Lol

And don’t beat the messenger, I know we still have Thanksgiving to get through before Christmas, and I’m definitely on #teamcelebrateeveryholiday, BUT these holiday sets won’t last long. Don’t say I didn’t warn you……
