Learn more about the First Coast region while creating art and other projects to celebrate what makes our area so special. From native cultures to historic architecture to modern tourism; our coast is shaped by many factors. Stay for a week or the whole summer to hone your art skills and build new ones.
EPIC Surf Camps exist to help young people grow in their relationship with Christ. We do this using the sport of surfing as a vehicle. Our camps allow us to encourage kids, youth, and young adults in their faith while enjoying all the great things surfing has to offer. No matter where you are with Christ, our time together will help you know WHAT you believe, WHY you believe it, and WHO we believe in!
Consistent with the mission of Collage, the program aims to cultivate in each child a sense of wonder and curiosity for the natural world. Our camps are designed to inspire creativity, collaboration with others, and confidence to engage in new experiences.
Our programs offer unique crafts, group games, hiking, exploration, and nature-based play on Collage’s beautiful 8-acre campus. Mixed-age groups provide a welcome opportunity for new and lasting friendships across grades.
Camp Collage, our 9 week summer camp, aims to cultivate a sense of wonder and curiosity for the natural world, creativity, collaboration with others, and confidence to engage in new experiences.
TimberNook Camp offers two-week camps for ages 2-3 years and ages 4-10 years. Children will be encouraged to explore nature, while challenging their minds and bodies in beautiful natural settings.
Our Surf Camp is offered for children ages 5-10 years old and is located at 8th Ave North in Jacksonville Beach where campers will learn and enjoy a week of fun in the sun and build confidence in the fundamentals of surfing and water safety.
We are excited to offer an interactive music camp where children participate in singing, creating, listening, playing musical instruments, and exploring various types of music and music related activities.
If your child already attends the semester Theatre program, is a returning camper, or would like to try out a for the first time, this is a great opportunity to have fun and make friends in a creative, loving, and fun atmosphere.
All Summer Camps are two-week-long camps this year by popular demand! Each camp will include theatre games, improv, physical theatre, accent, and stage skills training, as well as a full play on the last day!!
For middle and high school students, the last camp of Summer has become an institution with many genres of plays, including Shakespeare, Murder Mysteries, and Secret Agent Tales. High School students interested in Community Service Volunteering, please send a cover letter by email expressing their interest.
Comfortable clothes, water, and a cooler lunch, are all that’s needed.

The Junior Lifeguard program is a one-week, full-day camp for kids 9-15, and is sponsored by the City of Jacksonville Beach and the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corp. ecause the camp is held at the lifeguard station, the students can view how professional lifeguards handle beach emergencies and day-to-day operations.
The program trains students to get a job as a lifeguard when they turn sixteen years old. Many of our lifeguards have pursued careers as firefighters, police officers, military personnel, doctors, and nurses.
Jax Surf Camp, hosted by Jax Surf & Paddle, is a great way for your little surfer to learn, grow, and have tons of fun this year. Camp is open to any child aged 6-16 who is able to swim. Spring camps run March – April and Summer camps run from June – August. We offer two half-day camps ( Morning 5 sessions M-F or Afternoon 5 sessions M-F), full day (Morning and Afternoon 10 sessions M-F), and single-day camps for both spring and summer sessions to help fit your busy schedule.
Camps feature a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio in calm conditions, and additional teachers are brought in during any rough conditions. Ocean safety and your little surfer’s safety is a major focus of our day. Keeping your child safe is number one.
Our Spring Camp & Summer Camp location is in sunny Atlantic Beach. The address is 7th St and Beach Avenue, Atlantic Beach, Florida, 32233 (Drop-Off Public Beach Access). We grew up surfing this area and prefer the less crowded and family-friendly location. If needed, park along Beach Avenue, Club Drive, 7th Street, or Ocean Boulevard. Watch out for no parking at the top of beach access!
Camp curriculum consists of learning how to surf and improving the current surfing skill set. Each camp will feature lessons and demonstrations as well as lots of practice.
Lesson Plan: ocean safety, correct stance, pop-ups, proper paddle technique, entering/exiting the ocean, standing up, riding, and falling.
Other activities throughout the week might also include paddleboarding, yoga & stretching, relay races, beach sports, races, exercise, and classroom-style whiteboard sessions. All skill levels are welcome at our camp. After day one evaluation, campers break out into age/skill-appropriate groups to maximize the fun and learning curves for students. If we are familiar with your surfer, we can place them in the appropriate skill-level group. All 5-day camp graduates receive a goody bag and pizza party on Fridays!

Surfing is a great way for kids to stay active. At Thompson Surf School we make the experience FUN for all children, regardless of age and ability. Safety is most important to us, so we only use soft surfboards. Our instructors are professional surfers, watermen, and waterwomen with years of surfing experience and ocean knowledge. We not only teach the fundamentals of surfing, but we educate children on the ocean environment and ocean safety.
*All students are required to know how to swim prior to participating in surf camp.

The S4 Summer Camps are the premier sports camps serving North East and Central Florida. S4 Camps are designed for “rising” K-5th graders for the 2020-2021 school year.

During the program, your child will participate in a variety of fun and interactive activities. Spring break camps include ballet, art, and theater camps. Summer programs are to be determined.
Summer Theater Camp for aspiring actors or for those who want to experience the theater and acting for the first time. The two-week camp will culminate in a three-course served dinner and final performance from campers and will be held the Monday following the last day of camp at the Alhambra. A dinner ticket for the camper, plus one family member is included with registration.
The Sunshine Education Group is now enrolling for the summer camp program for children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade at all three premier Goddard School locations in the Jacksonville market. Our Creative Me! Summer Camp Program promotes exploration and discovery of the art world. To help foster that growth we give our students the opportunity to think outside the box while working on their teacher-guided art projects. Your child’s week at camp will be centered around a specific art theme. Within that theme, they will explore a variety of age-appropriate materials and hands-on processes, while having a great time! Just have your child wear old clothes and bring a small snack!
Summer Sampler- June 19th-23rd 1pm-4pm
Each day will feature a different board game with instructional time, free play time, and other activities revolving around the game of the day.

The camp will be completely Star Wars themed activities revolving around the miniatures game Star Wars: X-Wing

This collectible trading card game with it’s own story line can be played in a variety of formats. Instructional time on a beginner’s level will be provided along with other Magic: The Gathering themed activities.
Pokemon- July 17-23 1pm-4pm
This collectible trading card game is played by balancing your own team of Pokemon to counteract the opposing Pokemon. We will provide instructional time, free play, and other Pokemon themed activities.

Just like in their favorite video games, kids will be given a number of challenges throughout the day, and all the while be building their shelters before ‘night’ falls and the monsters wake up! Players will light their own campfires, ‘mine’ for resources and use sharp axes; all activities are closely supervised by experienced Forest School leaders. There’ll be plenty of time to get creative with play and imagination, of course. Wildcraft is a full week of video game inspired activities ideal for kids aged 7+ years.

Who is this for?
If your child Ages 7+ loves playing video games like Minecraft and Fortnite, Wildcraft Adventure is the perfect way to get them off the screen and into the outdoors, all while sneakily learning about nature and outdoors skills. The game is usually played in groups of between 12 and 20 kids. Children play in teams of 4 or 5 and work together to score as many points as possible, though the emphasis is not on winning the game but on scoring points through effort, participation and being creative.
What to expect
Please be aware that Wildcraft days include several bushcraft activities including; splitting wood with a small axe, fire-lighting, den building, toasting marshmallows and whittling. Our staff are trained and experienced at tutoring children through such skills and will cater each activity to suit the child’s age and experience as appropriate. Your child’s safety is our primary concern.
