Designed for youth and teens to learn the basics about theater and participate in guided theater games and mentorship – these camps are perfect for beginners, those who want to work on their skills, and kids who want to experience theater and see what it’s all about.
Youth Camp is for ages 5-12 and runs from 8-4 pm. Campers will explore various theatrical techniques and learn a sampling of drama skills.

During the summer months, WCDC offers a very diverse and enriching summer camp experience to hundreds of children. The camp serves youth between the ages of 4 (entering kindergarten) and 15. The program offers field trips, academic enrichment opportunities that include reading, science and math, physical fitness, indoor & outdoor activities, nutrition classes and, arts and crafts activities. We serve lunch along with morning and afternoon snacks. Our summer camp program has been offered since the existence of WCDC.
Join Florida Film Academy at Flagler College campus for a Summer Filmmaking Academy for students aged 13-18. Each week students complete a short film for festival submission, a trailer AND produce broadcast segments for inclusion in the successful Flagler College TV Series “Ancient City Stories”, shown on CW-17. Day or Residency options available. In this hands-on movie making experience for youth 7-12 and teens 13-18, students write, direct, film and edit their own movies, guided by our expert instructors and each group works on different challenges throughout the week. On Friday we welcome student’s families to our camp premiere to screen the films produced.

In this fun and educational summer camp, your children will play pirate-themed games, learn about real-life pirates and their influence on history, and create custom pirate outfits. On the last day of camp, all activities will culminate in a Pirate Party (parents welcome) hosted by Captain William Mayhem, the pirate magician of St. Augustine.
This summer camp digs into the exciting world of archaeology. Your children will learn the scientific relevance of digging up the past while discovering and recreating artifacts during interactive visits to the Castillo de San Marcos Museum and the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. On the last day of the camp, lunch will be hosted by a real live archaeologist happy to answer any questions.
This summer camp will expose your children to the magic of live theater. Through workshops, your budding thespians will write and stage their very own theatrical performances, designing and building sets and backdrops for the show. On the final day of camp, we’ll celebrate the collaborative production with lunch served Hollywood wrap-party style.

St. Augustine Youth Theatre is dedicated to providing a positive outlet for students to explore what theatre means to them. We believe in teaching the fundamentals while taking a “learn by doing” approach. That is why our classes and camps work towards creating an end product. St. Patrick’s is one of two locations offering a STEM camp this summer. The Camp Invention program is a week-long, nationally-acclaimed summer science and creativity day experience for elementary school children. This is a unique opportunity to help cultivate the ideas critical to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by encouraging exploration and curiosity through exciting, hands-on activities. Helping to instill the understanding that science is everywhere, this inquiry-based approach fosters “whole systems” thinkers. This summer at Camp Invention, children will learn how to think like inventors, problem-solve, collaborate and create – all while having tons of FUN!

Camp Abilities is a developmental sports camp for students with visual impairments. This year will be our first annual camp. The ages of the participants ranges from Age 9-Age 16.
The week will consist of camping (in cabins), s’mores, camp fires, cook outs, and all the fun that goes with camping. 5 nights of independence, adapted sports, and meeting other with similar abilities.

From a giant water slide to a petting zoo, bubble truck to hot air balloon rides, Camp Possible has been the premier summer day camp in Northeast Florida for those with special needs. Camp Possible serves special needs youth ages (6-21) through multi-sensory and therapeutic activities to bolster friendships, increase self-esteem, social interaction skills, and emotional regulation through super fun recreational activities in a secure and exciting environment.
The 2023, six-week session at Camp Possible offers a specially designed curriculum for special needs campers who have language-based learning disabilities, including dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, central auditory processing disorder, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders and social problems.

When school is out, Zoo Camp is in! Kids spend a day at the zoo creating crafts, playing games, viewing animal presentations and shows, trekking through the zoo, talking with keepers, and more. Our qualified educators guide groups of no larger than 12 students (per counselor) through an exciting, fun-filled adventure at The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park.
Our zoo camps combine outdoor education with entertainment where your kids will enjoy learning about wildlife, getting an introduction to zoological conservation, and making new friends! Zoo Camp is open for students entering 1st through 6th grade. Lunch and a snack are provided daily.
The Alligator Farm offers spring break camps, which include single day and week-long opportunities, and summer camps.
St. Augustine’s best Surf Camp is back for another year of awesome shredding, beach games, and more with the best instructors in the world! Surf Station Surf School teaches kids how to surf every summer in Saint Augustine Florida. We offer co-ed camps in Anastasia State Park and Crescent Beach and we reserve a few weeks out of the summer for our all girls camps. With years of experience teaching, surfing and being in the ocean, our CPR certified instructors start with the basics and tailor instruction to fit a student’s needs.
What better time to gain a love and respect of the water than when you’re young? Sailing is an activity that has been shown by researchers to have significant benefits to children. Some of these include improving hand-eye coordination, balance, strength, as well as, the ability to improve upon quick thinking skills. Often kids who become active in sailing start to take interest in the weather and other forms of oceanic science. So you can say safely, it’s fun and educational.
SPARS teaches youth sailing in Salt run at Anastasia Water Sports located within Anastasia State Park. Class costs will cover entrance fees for dropping off and picking up children. Sailing lessons are given in our fleet of Optimist Prams, an ideal boat for kids. The Opti is 7’8″ long with a single, 35 square foot sail, and is used for training and racing worldwide. This weight limit for an Opti is 160 lbs. For intermediate sailors we also have seven Sunfish boats.
Our sailing instructors are CPR certified. With a sailing class of six or more there are two instructors per class. At least one instructor is in a chase boat at all times while children are sailing. SPARS provides USCG approved life jackets and require children to wear them at all times in the water. Shoes must be worn at all times due to oyster beds at foot of marsh.
