This is Surf into Summer’s 19th year teaching campers to master the waves, making it the longest running surf camp on the First Coast. We offer surf camps in both Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach.

At Surf into Summer, campers will learn from the top surfers in North Florida. Campers will not only learn the basics of paddling and how to stand up on a board, but also important knowledge on beach and water safety from the CPR certified instructors.

Surf into Summer is the only surf camp that provides a one teacher to three student ratio. This 1:3 teacher to student ratio provides safe, quality instruction, which guarantees your camper will be surfing by the second day!

St. Augustine Youth Theatre is dedicated to providing a positive outlet for students to explore what theatre means to them. We believe in teaching the fundamentals while taking a “learn by doing” approach. That is why our classes and camps work towards creating an end product. Students enrolled at St. Augustine Youth Theatre get real time training as young artists and are given the opportunity to sharpen their skills, discover their talents and grow as individuals. Our methods include games, explorative play, and improvisation, as well as the rehearsal and performance process . We believe that theatre is a fantastic tool to teach students how to be goal oriented artists who use their own original voices.

A premier art gallery and gathering place for artists and art enthusiasts

On January 18, 1924, twenty writers, painters, sculptors and photographers gathered to form an arts club. This group planted the seed for the blossoming of the largest art colony of the South during the 1930s-1950s. More than just a gallery, today the Art Association continues its long history of promoting the arts by offering classes, activities, festivals and exhibits. What better time to gain a love and respect of the water than when you’re young? Sailing is an activity that has been shown by researchers to have significant benefits to children. Some of these include improving hand-eye coordination, balance, strength, as well as, the ability to improve upon quick thinking skills. Often kids who become active in sailing start to take interest in the weather and other forms of oceanic science. So you can say safely, it’s fun and educational.

SPARS teaches youth sailing in Salt run at Anastasia Water Sports located within Anastasia State Park. Class costs will cover entrance fees for dropping off and picking up children. Sailing lessons are given in our fleet of Optimist Prams, an ideal boat for kids. The Opti is 7’8″ long with a single, 35 square foot sail, and is used for training and racing worldwide. This weight limit for an Opti is 160 lbs. For intermediate sailors we also have seven Sunfish boats.

Our sailing instructors are CPR certified. With a sailing class of six or more there are two instructors per class. At least one instructor is in a chase boat at all times while children are sailing. SPARS provides USCG approved life jackets and require children to wear them at all times in the water. Shoes must be worn at all times due to oyster beds at foot of marsh.

Out of school time in the summer can result in significant learning loss as students get out of the habit of studying and forget what they learned in school. PAL’s academically enhanced summer camp can make a significant difference in learning and retention. The PAL STEAM Camp is a fun and exciting six weeks of “themed” hands-on activities centered on an innovative curriculum that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) learning. Each week participants engage in an array of academic skill building activities, with emphasis on physical learning, that spark their imagination. Activities range from building robots out of recyclable material to crafting edible treats.

EPIC Surf Camps exist to help young people grow in their relationship with Christ. We do this using the sport of surfing as a vehicle. Our camps allow us to encourage kids, youth, and young adults in their faith while enjoying all the great things surfing has to offer. No matter where you are with Christ, our time together will help you know WHAT you believe, WHY you believe it, and WHO we believe in!
