Isn’t it Time You Had a Girls’ Day Out?

Summer can often leave you feeling like you need a break from parenting. You might even be looking forward to the start of school and a much-needed hiatus from the intense fun you and your family have had over the summer. I’ve been there but I have good news: Here’s your chance to take some time out for yourself at Girls’ Day Out (formerly Speaking of Women’s Health), Saturday, August 15, where you can enjoy healthy fun and rejuvenation. Make this your new end-of-summer tradition and tell your friends to join us at the Hyatt Riverfront in downtown Jacksonville.

Girls’ Day Out is a day for each of us to take time to rediscover all that’s good, and to re-commit to our health goals. Hosted by our friends at Baptist Health and WJCT, Girls’ Day Out offers each of us the opportunity to celebrate our good health and redefine our goals.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • You’ll hear from physicians and other trusted experts on health and wellness topics that interest you most, with nationally recognized keynote speakers and a wide variety of smaller breakout sessions to choose from.
  • You’ll be lifted up and motivated to refocus your energy on your personal health and wellbeing.
  • And no Girl’s Day Out would be complete without free health screenings, a little pampering, some good laughs, good food, door prizes and lots of nice goodies to take away.

Girls' Day OutSo gather your friends and book your tickets for August 15 to celebrate the best time of our lives! Come experience the uplifting spirit of a group of women dedicated to living their best. While you’re there, make sure you discover Good for You, a growing wellness community that gives you access to fun events, health information and prizes at Girls’ Day Out. When you sign up as a new member of Good for You, you’ll get a chance to win a Fit Bit or a $50 Visa gift card.

August 15 can be your day to press the “reset” button, reestablish your priorities and enjoy the support you need to make lasting changes. Hope to see you and your friends there!
