First Coast Cultural Center is the place in our community to create, understand, and experience the arts. We accomplish this through exhibitions of local, regional, and national artists in a variety of media; through exciting events for the community; and through quality arts classes, lectures and workshops.

Weekly Camp for Ages 4-9 at the Cultural Center in Jacksonville Beach May 31- August 5.
Learn more about the First Coast region while creating art and other projects to celebrate what makes our area so special. From native cultures to historic architecture to modern tourism; our coast is shaped by many factors. Stay for a week or the whole summer to hone your art skills and build new ones.
School Age Summer Camp Program: Three 3-week sessions are offered.
Hours: 7 AM – 6 PM
Ages: Entering 1st grade through 6th grade *prices include AM & PM Snack & all Field Trips
A nutritious morning and afternoon snack is provided daily along with weekly cooking/science activities. Preschool children bring their lunch.
Come on a magical journey with Dare to be Different, using A Wrinkle in Time, by author Madeleine L’Engle. This children’s program uses games, crafts and other adventures to help us learn about the Bible, our spiritual gifts and how our differences make us special! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, recreational gymnastics camp can be a fun and rewarding experience. Campers will work skill progressions on the uneven bars, balance beam, floor, vault, and TumblTrak. Campers will also play games, watch movies, and just have fun! Available for ages 4 and up. Campers should be dressed for gymnastics activity and full-day campers should bring lunch and a snack. Snacks, drinks, and some lunch items will be available for purchase.

“FUN IN THE SUN” SUMMER CAMP
Our Fun in the Sun Summer Camp follows a rhythm similar to the school year. The weekly themes are Sun, Earth, Wind and Water. It is rich in story, song, movement, gardening, creativity, imaginative play and activities related to the weekly theme. Together we will make art crafts and delicious organic snacks. Each day of camp celebrates the wonder and magic of a Florida summer as we meet new friends and enjoy beautiful days at the beach. Children learn so much when they play and imagine in a natural and gentle environment.
FOREST SPRING CAMP
Come enjoy a wonderful Spring. This a time for exploratory celebration! We’ll enjoy fun, spring-themed crafts, hiking, exploring, kite flying and sand castle building at the beach. We will have a variety of healthy snacks that your child helps prepare. Camp meets at Hannah Park.
WINTER WONDER DAYS
Come join your friends at The Playgarden for Wonderful Winter Days. We will create crafts, enjoy seasonal snacks, and enjoy the mild Florida weather as we explore The Playgarden grounds and beach.
Founded in 2002 by Cathy Finne, Studio 1014 has been giving students in the greater Jacksonville area a well-rounded dance education in a warm and welcoming environment. With a variety of classes and performance opportunities, we cater to students who wish to dance for fun and exercise, as well as those who wish to continue on the professional track.
Summer is fast approaching and we have our students in mind. To accommodate our families, Montessori Tides School announces our Summer Programs Schedule.
Once again, we will be offering Toddler and PlayArts Programs. These programs will run in monthly sessions. The first session will start June 5 and end June 30. The second session will start July 5 and end July 28. The programs will not be in session July 3 & 4 in observance of Independence Day. If you have vacations planned, we can certainly work around those plans.
Toddler Program – 16 mos-36 mos
The Toddler Summer Program will be a continuation of our current program. The children will work on socialization skills, verbalization skills, fine and gross motor skills, concentration, control of body, and of course toileting skills.
PlayArts Program – 3, 4, 5 year olds
The PlayArts Program is an Arts/Crafts Camp run in a Montessori Environment. The class will select a book and then make props, cast the performance, practice and finally host the parents for a performance of the play. There are 2 performances each session. The performances are at 9:00am on the second and fourth Fridays of the session. The program is also filled with fun crafts and games. All run in a Montessori environment.

Our Summer Basketball Camp is designed to teach young, upcoming players the basic fundamentals and team concepts of the game.
During the day at our summer basketball camp, the campers will go through individual, as well as team drills. Players will be instructed during “Stations” where they will work on individual basic fundamentals, while being supervised by a knowledgeable coach.
All players will participate in 2-3 games daily.
Open to Boys + Girls in grades 3rd-8th. Grades are based on the 2016-2017 school year.
