Summer is officially here, and we are headed to the beach for our next Park Hop! Join Jacksonville Moms Blog at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier for a morning of park and splash pad fun, and then stay for an afternoon at beautiful St. Augustine beach. Located just South of Jacksonville at 350 A1A Beach Blvd, the pier features a playground in the sand and splash pad that kids of all ages will love. Take a walk on the pier, visit the gift shop or enjoy lunch at a shaded picnic table – the St. Augustine pier is the perfect place to enjoy a summer day.
The St. Augustine YMCA will be on hand providing information about their programs, including summer camps! The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community. With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen.
We are excited to welcome Rita’s of St. Augustine beach at this park hop. A local favorite, Rita’s offers delicious cool treats from their Italian Ice to classic old-fashioned custard. Bring lots of drinking water, sunscreen, bathing suits, towels, sand toys, and a camera to catch some cool pictures of your little ones.
