The Classical Education Difference with Jacksonville Classical Academy

Thank you to Jacksonville Classical Academy for sponsoring this post and providing educational options to students and their families.

classical educationWhat is classical education, and what does it mean for your child? Simply put, classical education is Traditional-American education with a focus on moral virtue.

At the time of our nation’s founding, classical education was thriving. Our founding fathers heartily recommended Greek and Latin as the languages of study for early adolescence. It is the acknowledgment of objective standards of correctness, logic, beauty, weightiness, and truth intrinsic to the liberal arts.

Classical education equips students with a liberal arts and sciences education that cultivates virtuous living, civic responsibility, and a deep appreciation of the history of Western Civilization. Students should graduate highly literate and ethical citizens who are well-prepared to advance into any life endeavor and inspire others in our great city of Jacksonville, in the country, and in the world.
