It’s fall, y’all, which means all the fun fall family activities are upon us — from pumpkin patches to corn mazes and everything in between! A family favorite of ours is Amazing Grace Family Farms, located in Green Cove Springs, and it has a little something for everyone.
The 2023 Fall Festival takes place from October 6th through November 4 and tickets can be purchased online. They are open on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. They are also open Monday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last season, they relocated to a new farm and can be found at 4251 SR 21, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043.

Amazing Grace Farms (AGF) offers so many festive activities for all ages, including pumpkin pickings, crop mazes, fall photo ops, food trucks, kids’ games, farm animals, a cow tractor ride, and much more.

The reason my family loves AGF is not just because of all the fall fun, but because of their mission. This time of year should remind us of giving and showing kindness to others. The owners of AGF are not only family-based, but they are community and faith-based as well. They actively participate in volunteer efforts for their church, the agricultural and life sciences community, and multiple local charities. It makes having fun feel a little more purposeful knowing the foundation of the farm is rooted in kindness and community.
Having a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old means prioritizing what activities we want to do this time of year. We all know the holidays can get crazy and packed with tons of to-dos. AGF always makes the list because of the wide range of family-oriented entertainment. My toddler is a ball of energy and loves to go and explore all the open space, and I am a firm believer that fresh air is good for the soul! The cow tractor ride is his absolute favorite, along with seeing some of their farm animals.

As a mom, I’m all about photo ops. They have a handful of staged areas where you can take your pictures and also have a pumpkin patch that makes for cute photos, too. We all know too well that our kids grow so fast at this age, and it’s nice to be given the opportunity to document them year after year.
Another offering at AGF is their lineup of food trucks and vendors. This really makes it a full-day event. Last year, they had a handful of options with tons of family-friendly selections, and I can’t wait to see what yummy bites they will have this year.
For my family, I know that this will be a main family outing for us, and I really hope you can make it a day of family fun, as well! But if not, always remember that this time of year is magical — especially for the kids. Spending extra time with family and friends is a blessing, and no matter where you choose to go or what you choose to do, remember it is about the quality of time spent together that will create memories for years to come.
