My name is Diana, creator, and owner of Attia Designs, a minority-owned company. I named my company after my 4-year-old daughter, Isabella Delali Attia. Attia means gift in West Africa and I thought it was so appropriate because she is a gift and blessing in my life. I was born and raised in Belize, CA, and came to the U.S. in 2007 to further my education. I am married to an amazing hubby and I have two children, Bella (4) and Enzo (2). I also work full time for a healthcare organization and teach sprint part-time at the local YMCA. I am a busy bee! Regardless, I find it important to carry out your passion and make time for the things that make you happy.

I launched Attia Designs on June 6, 2020. So, why earrings? I am completely obsessed with earrings and came across polymer clay earrings while browsing the internet one day. Quarantine from the pandemic gave me a lot of much needed time to explore my passions. I didn’t put much thought into planning, I dove straight into it and a month later here we are. I have had help from other amazing women on social media, who have been so encouraging. The best part for me is putting my own style and unique perspective into every design. Little Dancing Stars, your mobile dance company started in 2001. We offer children 3 to 6 years of age basic beginning Ballet and Tap instruction. We focus on poise, concentration, memory and balance… while having fun! Classes are held at your child’s preschool, so there is no commuting to a studio after work or on weekends. Your child can participate in a dance recital at the end of the dance season. Classes start the first week of September and run through end of May, with the dance recital being held usually the first Saturday of June.

Classes are held once a week at your child’s preschool consisting of both Ballet and Tap for only $48.00 a month!

You and your child will explore the world of colors using the five senses! We will get a little messy through touch, taste, and a lot of fun! Our time together will include: circle time, using the senses, learning through stories, and nutritious, yummy snacks! This class is most appropriate for children aged 10 months to about 3.5 years old!

This class combines strength training and power walking. Class ends with a focus on improving core strength and flexibility. This 45 minutes we will focus on Mommy or Daddy, so any child who still sits in a stroller is welcome!

Family Music & Movement classes incorporate songs with movement and various hand held instruments. Classes are mixed-age but geared to 0-2 yrs old.

Greenland Park was dedicated April 20, 1990. Funding for the project was allocated from the 1988 Neighborhood Park Improvement Bond Program for Council District 4. In 1991, a monumnet was dedicated in the park to Brandon O`Leary, a 13 year old MAA member who was killed earlier in the year. On January 25, 1995, the City of Jacksonville purchased an additional 16.5 acres from RM Williams to expand the Greenland Road Park site to its current 20.3 acres. In February 2003, the park received a new playscape, swing set and benches. In August of 2007 new renovations were completed to the Concession and Restroom Facility Building.

Soccer Shots is a program offered to children ages 2-8 that meets once a week at daycare centers, preschools, elementary schools, parks, communities and churches throughout the city to introduce your child to soccer. Providing a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to soccer for kids, Soccer Shots is not your typical league, but rather a fun introduction to the basics of soccer with a focus on character development and confidence-building, that your children will use as they transition to league play. Programs are offered at over 80 locations throughout Duval, Clay, St. Johns and Nassau County.

The Ortega Hills Playground is located in the Ortega Hills area across from the Jacksonville Naval Air Station. The name Ortega derives from Joseph de Ortega, a judge during the second Spanish occupation of Florida from 1783-1821. In 1804, when John McIntosh bought the plantation that is present-day Ortega, he named it for the judge who facilitated his purchase of the property. Development of Ortega Hills began in 1954, and Devco Inc. donated the land for the park to Duval County in 1959. “WHO WE ARE” St Johns Taekwondo is a certified Olympic Taekwondo Training Center. Club #7283 with USA Taekwondo the governing body for the Olympic Taekwondo games in the United States under the (WTF) World Taekwondo Federation. “WHAT WE DO” St Johns Taekwondo is passionate about seeing students grow through martial arts training. The hand techniques are practiced and conditioned by breaking objects such as boards, roof tiles and cement blocks. All the techniques from kicks, strikes, down to blocks were developed to maximize damage with every blow. We also practice Taegeuk “Poomse” meaning forms or patterns. These are pre-arranged fight sequences that are practiced to develop hand-eye coordination, timing, balance, power, speed, discipline and overall body structure.
