My name is Diana, creator, and owner of Attia Designs, a minority-owned company. I named my company after my 4-year-old daughter, Isabella Delali Attia. Attia means gift in West Africa and I thought it was so appropriate because she is a gift and blessing in my life. I was born and raised in Belize, CA, and came to the U.S. in 2007 to further my education. I am married to an amazing hubby and I have two children, Bella (4) and Enzo (2). I also work full time for a healthcare organization and teach sprint part-time at the local YMCA. I am a busy bee! Regardless, I find it important to carry out your passion and make time for the things that make you happy.

I launched Attia Designs on June 6, 2020. So, why earrings? I am completely obsessed with earrings and came across polymer clay earrings while browsing the internet one day. Quarantine from the pandemic gave me a lot of much needed time to explore my passions. I didn’t put much thought into planning, I dove straight into it and a month later here we are. I have had help from other amazing women on social media, who have been so encouraging. The best part for me is putting my own style and unique perspective into every design. Wiley Road Playground is located at the intersection of Lane Avenue and Wiley Road in southwest Jacksonville. First through 4th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics.  Remember, each class is separate with their own recital dance and costume.  For example; if your child takes all 4 disciplines they will have 4 costumes.  First grade does not have a recital dance for acrobatics therefore would not have a costume for that class. 

Fifth through 12th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, and Acrobatics. Pointe class must be with approval.  Ballet and Pointe are two separate classes.  You must take Ballet in order to take Pointe.  There is however one costume for the two classes.  The recital dance is learned during the Ballet Technique class when both Pointe and Ballet students are present.

Crabtree Park is located in the Lakewood area, three blocks east of the intersection of San Jose Blvd. and University Blvd. West. Walter Crabtree developed the entire Lakewood area between 1946 and 1961, some of it around picturesque New Ross Creek that meanders through the northwest section. He conveyed the land for the park to Duval County in several deeds between 1957 and 1963. For over fifty years, Walter R. Crabtree (1899-1993) was a real estate developer and builder in Duval County. He operated his own lumber company, and built the Lakewood Apartments across from the park. The property at 10244 103rd Street was originally purchased by Duval County on August 19, 1960 from Hercules, Inc. When consolidation occurred in 1968, the 14-acre park became part of the City of Jacksonville’s facilities in the Department of Recreation and Public Affairs. The park consists of a 0.5-mile lighted asphalt Go-Kart track, bleachers, grills, restrooms and parking. The North Florida Kart Club has been active at the site since its early days and has helped in its maintenance and park improvements by its fund-raising efforts.
