Owners of European Leather Gallery, Nancy and Dennis Kulm, have been married for more than 25 years. Their discovery of Stressless® furniture was by pure accident. The Splash Jax Swim School staff has been professionally trained to offer your child the latest in teaching and learning. Children are taught in small groups (4:1) which will allow them the ability to learn skills properly. Our number one goal is to teach your child to really swim, increasing their chance of survival in a water emergency. Secondly, we will teach your child to swim well by emphasizing correct competitive swimming techniques (streamline, body roll, bilateral breathing) from the beginning.

Little Dancing Stars, your mobile dance company started in 2001. We offer children 3 to 6 years of age basic beginning Ballet and Tap instruction. We focus on poise, concentration, memory and balance… while having fun! Classes are held at your child’s preschool, so there is no commuting to a studio after work or on weekends. Your child can participate in a dance recital at the end of the dance season. Classes start the first week of September and run through end of May, with the dance recital being held usually the first Saturday of June.

Attia means gift in West Africa and I thought it was so appropriate because she is a gift and blessing in my life. I was born and raised in Belize, CA, and came to the U.S. in 2007 to further my education. I am married to an amazing hubby and I have two children, Bella (4) and Enzo (2). Greenland Park was dedicated April 20, 1990. Funding for the project was allocated from the 1988 Neighborhood Park Improvement Bond Program for Council District 4. In 1991, a monumnet was dedicated in the park to Brandon O`Leary, a 13 year old MAA member who was killed earlier in the year. On January 25, 1995, the City of Jacksonville purchased an additional 16.5 acres from RM Williams to expand the Greenland Road Park site to its current 20.3 acres. In February 2003, the park received a new playscape, swing set and benches. In August of 2007 new renovations were completed to the Concession and Restroom Facility Building.

This class combines strength training and power walking. Class ends with a focus on improving core strength and flexibility. This 45 minutes we will focus on Mommy or Daddy, so any child who still sits in a stroller is welcome!

Family Music & Movement classes incorporate songs with movement and various hand held instruments. Classes are mixed-age but geared to 0-2 yrs old.

Private Full Time Islamic School. Al-Furqan Academy was established in August of 1997 by some of the same founding members of ICNEF (Islamic Center of Northeast Florida). St. Nicholas Playground is located adjacent to Spring Park Road in the St. Nicholas/Spring Park section of Jacksonville. Following City land purchases in 1936 and 1937, the park was created and originally named Spring Park, and was expanded by additional land acquisitions in 1944. The St. Nicholas Park and Home Park subdivisions were developed near the park in the late 1930’s to meet the housing needs of Jacksonville’s growing middle class, and the Spring Park Elementary School opened adjacent to the park in 1942. The playground became a popular site for games of the City’s baseball leagues. In recent years the Spring Park Neighborhood Association and St. Nicholas Area Preservation have taken an active role in the maintenance and welfare of the facility, which contains a walking/jogging trail completed in 1999.
