You will be fishing on a 2016 Pathfinder 24-foot center console, powered by a Yamaha 300 horsepower outboard. We fish exclusively with Penn reels, most of which are paired on Ugly Stik rods. Spider Wire Ultra Cast braided line makes long-casting easier, and pulling those tough redfish out of the rocks. Most of the fishing is live bait, although Sebile Plugs and Berkley Gulp are always on the boat for that early morning trout bite or jigging the St. Johns River for flounder.

FIRST COAST FUTSAL ACADEMY  designs its futsal programs targeting players of all levels. We create a learning environment that focuses on building skills, confidence and encouraging creativity while enhancing a players’ passion for the game. The priority of our Futsal clinics is to work on players’ individual skills that coaches are not able to teach during team practices.

Futsal is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper.

Our Aviation Focused STEM Education Program is designed for middle school and high school students ages 11-18 (grades 6-12) who have expressed an interest in aviation and other STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related topics. Owners of European Leather Gallery, Nancy and Dennis Kulm, have been married for more than 25 years. Their discovery of Stressless® furniture was by pure accident. Shortly after moving to Florida in 2001, they saw a Stressless® chair in a restaurant and bought one. About three months later, Dennis, who had a history of terrible back problems realized his back didn’t hurt anymore. Without a doubt, this improvement in his back was a direct result of the Stressless® recliner.

Jeff Galloway’s Marathon Training Programs are for all levels of runners, from beginning runners to Boston qualifiers. This Low-mileage, Injury-free Training Program is for those who have jobs, families, and a life! The Jacksonville Galloway Training Program meets on Saturday mornings at various locations across the Jacksonville area, and follows Jeff Galloway’s training guidelines to get you safely across the finish line of a half or full marathon if your goals are to finish, or to achieve a ‘PR’. Our group runs feature walking breaks at regular intervals based on your skill level. Pace groups (of usually 8-15) are set up according to current fitness level, and a Group Leader is assigned to keep the speed slow enough for all members, and to enforce walk breaks from the beginning to the end.
Running is more fun when running together, as each member is motivated to run more often, and stay injury free. As you share stories, (gossip, issues) and pull one another along, the miles go by much more quickly. Lifelong friendships are formed in these mission-oriented, but laid back groups. Divers Supply Swim School teaches the Swim Schools International standardized “Gold Script” curriculum. This proven Curriculum is appropriate for any person of any age and swimming ability. Our program focuses on a combination of water survival skills and swimming techniques. While keeping the lessons interesting and fun for the swimmer, safety is our number one priority.

Our lessons take place year round in our indoor heated pool and climate controlled facility. Your swimmer’s lessons can start or end at anytime with our Perpetual Lessons Program. Your swimmer can progress through their lessons at their pace as enrollment is always open and there are no session start and end dates.

Bird Island Park is located behind the Ponte Vedra Branch Library. The playground is at the end of the boardwalk and has unique play equipment that kids love. The 4.2 acre park includes a 2 acre pond with a wooden board walk and viewing pavilion, turtle shaped maze, storytelling area, gazebos, and informational signage throughout the park.

Private Full Time Islamic School. Al-Furqan Academy was established in August of 1997 by some of the same founding members of ICNEF (Islamic Center of Northeast Florida). They saw the immense need for an Islamic Elementary School in the city of Jacksonville, and they acted upon it. First, written plans were formulated, classrooms were established within the Masjid, staff was recruited and numerous other plans and procedures developed. The result is that today, we are a school of approximately 60 students ranging in ages from 3 years up to the fifth grade.
