Focusing the majority of our business on children, we bring ponies and farm animal displays (petting zoos) to birthday parties and other events such as church functions, family reunions, school carnivals, etc. Our saddled ponies come in various sizes to accommodate all children. Along with our saddled ponies, we also provide a miniature carriage pulled by a pony, which seats up to 3 children plus the driver. Adults are welcome to ride as well. The petting zoo allows up to 35 animals. Typically this includes: Goats, Sheep, Bunnies, Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Pigs and a Calf and Pot Bellied Pig. Everyone is welcome to feed the animals with food we have provided.

The Mandarin Museum and the 1898 St. Joseph’s Mission Schoolhouse for African-American Children are open every Saturday from 9-4 at Walter Jones Historical Park, 11964 Mandarin Rd. The museum features the Civil War steamship Maple Leaf which was sunk in the St. Johns River at Mandarin Point in 1864. On display are many artifacts recovered from the shipwreck, Civil War soldiers’ uniforms and an interactive exhibit about the diving operation that recovered the objects belonging to the soldiers. The historic schoolhouse is the last remaining one-room schoolhouse left in Duval County. While visiting, children can pick-up a park and museum scavenger hunt that helps them learn about important objects or sit in an old school desk and color or read a book, and learn about how different school was over 100 years ago. Following the visit to the museums, you will want to stroll the beautiful 10-acre Walter Jones Historical Park, walk along the St. Johns River on the boardwalk and imagine being dropped back in time to a quiet life of the early 1900s. Picnic tables and restrooms are available.

The Town of Orange Park Farmer’s and Arts’ Market was created in September 2012. The market is run by The Town of Orange Park Events and Recreation Division. We have grown tremendously since our opening day. When is the market held? The market is held on most 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of each month from 11am-4pm. Some Sunday’s we’re closed due to special events or holidays. Our season runs from September through May and we are closed June, July, and August.
Where is the market located? The market is located on the busy corner of US17 and Kingsley Ave. 2042 Park Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073. This is an outdoor market and sometimes due to inclement weather the market may be closed. Just look for the large yellow signs!
What can you expect to find at the market? We offer a huge variety of quality handmade and homegrown items. You will find nearly anything your heart desires from locally grown honey, cupcakes, pies, salsa, granola, plants, produce, raw milk, eggs, cheeses, hand crafted jewelry, bird houses, pottery pieces, didgeridoos, soaps, and many many more handcrafted items!
Where do I park? Due to the success of our market, parking can, unfortunately, be problematic. We suggest parking at CVS/Winn Dixie and using the pedestrian crosswalks to enter the market. There is also parking at Town Hall off of US 17 and Smith St and Kingsley Ave- both of these areas offer limited parking.
How do I become a vendor? All vendors are required to fill out an application. Applications can be found on our website click here or you can pick up an application at Town Hall or our booth at the market.

Kent’s U-Pick Fresh Blueberry Farm uses no pesticides on the blueberry bushes. Reservations required. Listed on Facebook. They try to estimate how plentiful the berries will be to accommodate and if weather permits. The season usually lasts six weeks. Mid-May to end of June. During blueberry season, the blueberries do not ripen all at the same time. There are no restroom facilities. Normally schedule Wednesday or Saturday from 7:30 to 12 noon for picking. If the schedule is not on Facebook, call to see what days are open and to make reservations.

The Gifted Program is an enrichment curriculum to stimulate and encourage creative learning for students. The classroom uses divergent tasks to take the students outside their nine dots. They are challenged with problem solving to develop critical thinking skills. This approach requires alternative ideas. There are several projects that require problem solving to create an acceptable solution. In addition to hands on projects, they go on many field trips to learn firsthand the culture and creative methods of each place visited. A real memorable learning experience engrained in each child.
Students in Gifted Class have unique opportunities to receive a participatory and experimental approach to learning. The students achieve hands on levels of learning and knowledge not available in text books.

The 9A/Baymedows Regional Park site is situated between Baymeadows Road East and State Road 9A in southeast Jacksonville. The City purchased the 52-acre parcel from Disston Ranch in June 2002. Chuck Rogers Park is located in Mandarin, north of the intersection of San Jose Blvd. and Orange Picker Rd. Sometime between 1968-1977, a borrow pit was excavated on part of the site, which was later used as a private landfill. The efforts of the City, Councilman Dick Kravitz, and the Jacksonville Youth Soccer Club led to the purchase of the site in 1995 and its development as Mandarin’s first soccer park, which opened for the inaugural game March 7, 1997. An additional 1.1-acre parcel for the park was donated to the City in 1998. The park is named for Chuck Rogers (1909-1980), who worked for the Parks and Recreation Dept. for 41 years. He started and ran the City’s youth leagues in all sports, was the guiding light in the tremendous rise of slow-pitch softball in the City, served for many years as the grand marshal for the City’s parades, and much more. Eventually, Mr. Rogers was inducted into the Jacksonville Sports Hall of Fame.

At Little Seals Swim School, we offer one-on-one survival swim lessons to children as young as 8 months old. Babies/infants are taught to roll over and float on their backs. Once they reach a year old (or have been walking for about 6 weeks), they are taught to swim with their face in the water. The children are then taught to sequence the swimming with the floating in order to rest and breathe while swimming and playing in the water. They repeat the swim-float-swim sequence until they reach the steps or side. Once children are fully skilled, they have the opportunity to practice their skills fully clothed for “Silly Swim” lessons. Once lessons are completed, students are encouraged to maintain their skills by attending twice-monthly maintenance lessons (or semi-annual refresher lessons). Introduction to stroke lessons are, also, available for children that are developmentally ready (usually beginning between 4 and 6 years of age). Instructors are trained to present stroke lessons in a fun way that is relatable to young children.

My motto is: “Life is messy. Life is beautiful.” And as a visual storyteller, my goal is to capture the sometimes messy (but always beautiful!) moments in life – for my own family and my clients. His name is Kingston Rock – and he’s feisty, hilarious, and payback for everything I did wrong as a child. I don’t sugarcoat our life, because I believe that God is at work in the messy parts, and if we let him, he can make them beautiful!
Thrift stores are my favorite places to shop, and most of my “down time” is spent making crafty DIY projects and decorating (and redecorating!) our home. I’m almost always wearing a hat!

Tough Guys Cookies & Sweets is OPEN in Oakleaf just across the street from Oakleaf Village Elementary. The head chef and owner is John Odom, former police officer and certified “Tough Guy.” John started this bakery with his friends and family as a way to showcase his love for baking, a love that was created at a young age thanks to the creativity and devotion of his grandmother.
Tough Guys is open Tuesday – Saturday 1pm-7pm. Greenland Park was dedicated April 20, 1990. Funding for the project was allocated from the 1988 Neighborhood Park Improvement Bond Program for Council District 4. In 1991, a monumnet was dedicated in the park to Brandon O`Leary, a 13 year old MAA member who was killed earlier in the year. On January 25, 1995, the City of Jacksonville purchased an additional 16.5 acres from RM Williams to expand the Greenland Road Park site to its current 20.3 acres. In February 2003, the park received a new playscape, swing set and benches. In August of 2007 new renovations were completed to the Concession and Restroom Facility Building.

Pura Bean Coffee was founded on the principal of enjoying coffee and life. It all began after several excursions to Costa Rica where we fell in love with the local coffee and lifestyle. As raving fans we decided it would be fun to make our own coffee back home in Jacksonville, FL. Using our daughter’s popcorn popper we began learning the craft of roasting and creating blends of coffee for friends and family. Our obsession grew to roasting coffee for real in the back of our own shop, where we serve up specialty blends from all over the world and deliver to local retailers in our 1979 Orange VW Bus.

Our kids stand out: Growing Room kids advance to elementary school ready to learn. Our enriching, literacy-based educational curriculum is filled with language, phonics, reading, writing and hands on math/science experiences, along with a character-developing program.
Step into our world: Kid friendly setting, with a town square scaled down to child size. There’s even a “Bake Shop,” that provides family style meals, including nutritious breakfast and lunch, plus two healthy, balanced snacks. Playgrounds are age appropriate and there’s plenty of outdoor time built into our day.
Parents are pampered, too: Grab continental breakfast on us while watching your kids on the TV monitor or reviewing lesson plans for the day on our bulletin board.
Arts are a part: Music is a key part of learning and is used throughout the day to transition children from activities. Plenty of drama, crafts and other visual arts, too.
Jacksonville Academy of Gymnastics is one of Jacksonville’s newest gymnastics facilities. We offer traditional gymnastics classes for ages 18 Months and up along with Gem-Fit girls conditioning classes, Iron Man boys conditioning classes and Tumbl-Cheer classes combining cheer basics and tumbling. We also offer a competitive team program with low coach to athlete ratios that stresses conditioning and basics training at all levels.
Your kids will have fun while learning to code! Below we have an Intro class available for any first timer. For those that have been through our Intro class we have our 8-week Coding Camp available. Instead of kids simply playing games, they will learn to code and create games!

Fenwick Home Services, Inc. was established in 1969 by Bill Fenwick Sr. and has continued to be an engaging business. It began at home with Bill Sr. and his wife, Beverly, answering the company telephone while raising their three sons.In 1970, Bill and his sons decided it was time to move their small business from their home to a plumbing shop with a warehouse. As the company continued to grow, it did not take long for them to outgrow this location. In 1977, they moved their office onto Beach Boulevard where they spent over 36 years growing their plumbing business. In November 2013, they finally outgrew that location as well and have recently moved to their current location on Columbia Park Drive.

We work with only the freshest ingredients – this means real butter, eggs, chocolate & fresh fruits go into everything we make including our signature whipped buttercream icing (sorry no fondant here). Although we offer lots of fun flavor combinations on our menu we are happy to customize to your hearts (or stomachs) desire!
