You and your child will explore the world of colors using the five senses! We will get a little messy through touch, taste, and a lot of fun! Our time together will include: circle time, using the senses, learning through stories, and nutritious, yummy snacks! This class is most appropriate for children aged 10 months to about 3.5 years old!

Classes are held at the Dubow Preschool in Mandarin at 3662 Crown Point Rd.

$5 per class
This class combines strength training and power walking. Class ends with a focus on improving core strength and flexibility. This 45 minutes we will focus on Mommy or Daddy, so any child who still sits in a stroller is welcome!
Please bring a towel, water, and a resistance band.
Classes are held Mondays only. More days will be added if there is demand.

Family Music & Movement classes incorporate songs with movement and various hand held instruments. Classes are mixed-age but geared to 0-2 yrs old.

St. Nicholas Playground is located adjacent to Spring Park Road in the St. Nicholas/Spring Park section of Jacksonville. Following City land purchases in 1936 and 1937, the park was created and originally named Spring Park, and was expanded by additional land acquisitions in 1944. The St. Nicholas Park and Home Park subdivisions were developed near the park in the late 1930’s to meet the housing needs of Jacksonville’s growing middle class, and the Spring Park Elementary School opened adjacent to the park in 1942. The playground became a popular site for games of the City’s baseball leagues. Our custom designed curriculum will utilize free, industry accepted materials. Students will work on projects as a team and learn valuable reasoning, problem solving and decision making skills that can be applied to anything they do in life – especially if they decide to become a pilot! All activities are ground based and will be conducted at our facility, in our classroom or aircraft hangar, but parents will have the option of purchasing flight lessons for their children to enhance what they learn during the course.

Dance instruction for all ages including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, musical theater and modern dance utilizing the integration of the Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS) and other cross training methodologies into classical technical curriculum.

General surf lessons will teach the basics of surfing from beginner to advanced. We will have one instructor per student. We also recommend a flexible “floating” schedule to maximize your investment as the surf conditions often have a direct impact on the success of the lesson. Hope Haven has been serving the greater Jacksonville area for almost 100 years. We provide clinical services: neuropsychological testing (ADHD, ADD, Autism), mental health counseling (ages 3 through adult), and advocacy for families. Through our educational services we offer Discovery School (enrolling ages 3-5 all abilities), Out of School programming, Summer Camps, Employment and Transitional Services (ages 14+) for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. Our Education Development Services (ages 5-22) support students with an individualized reading approach covering phonemic awareness, phonics, and comprehension. The Annual Pumpkin Patch is here to serve our community. The pumpkin patch is a fundraiser for our youth to raise funds to go on mission trips and for our sponsorships for youth in need.
