Ultimate Beaches Guide: We find ourselves at Jacksonville Beach events all season long. It is a vibrant, bustling beach. There are so many fun festivals, concerts, and movie nights at the amphitheater. If you are heading out to enjoy the sand and waves on Jacksonville Beach, you will find ample parking across the beach; but be careful that you do not park in a restricted area. If you think your little one might need to get off the beach and stroll away from the sand for a time, this a terrific beach for you. There is a park on 9th Avenue North, Tall Pines Park, that can provide a nice change of pace. There are also easy-to-access public restrooms on 3rd Avenue North, 2nd Avenue North, and 5th Avenue North. It may sound crazy but my favorite eatery to frequent on my Jacksonville Beach days is a grocery store, Native Sun. This place makes delicious juices and has lots of yummy ready eat foods that are perfect to take with you. This is Surf into Summer’s 19th year teaching campers to master the waves, making it the longest running surf camp on the First Coast. We offer surf camps in both Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach.

Saltwater Cowgirls offers private and group lessons for all, male and female. Private lessons provide a focused, one-on-one type of learning experience. This is a great way to personalize your training and receive dedicated attention and feedback from an experienced Saltwater Cowgirl instructor.

Private lessons are available to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’ve been surfing for years or are hitting the waves for the first time, Saltwater Cowgirls instruction will provide the guidance you’re looking for. Lessons are offered all year and will be scheduled according to favorable surf conditions. Lessons are available Monday – Saturday. We take Sundays off and do not offer lessons.

Group Surf Lessons are great opportunities for birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and family fun in the sun.

Private Full Time Islamic School. Al-Furqan Academy was established in August of 1997 by some of the same founding members of ICNEF (Islamic Center of Northeast Florida). They saw the immense need for an Islamic Elementary School in the city of Jacksonville, and they acted upon it. Beaches Aquatic Pool has been serving the Northeast Florida community since 1963. The 220,000 gallon pool is gas heated and maintained at 82 degrees for year round swimming comfort. The facility provides a center for recreational and competitive swimming. We offer swim lessons for children and aqua-fitness classes for adults.
